Aloo Palak and the aloo naan was really tasty! Great vegan option.
Mango lassi? Chicken Biryani? You might get melted kulfi as Mango lassi (call it lassi and sell it to the ignorant) and rotten tomatoes (tomato?) in my Biryani.A total clown show.
This is a very good Indian restaurant in downtown Oakland on 17th and clay I love the food. My wife is not a big Indian food eater but she enjoyed it also
My husband an I just randomly chose this Indian place to have dinner before the concert. We had enough time and planned to dine in, but next moment we entered I realized that the only way we can eat their food it's take out. They probably had problems with sewage and smell in the restaurant was so bad that there was no way to have dinner there. And that was strange too no smell of cooking food that can reduce the stink. We ordered our food to go and spend our waiting time in the comics shop next door. Food came fast, 10minutes not more. We took it and had outdoor in Jack London square which is not far from that place. So:Lamb biryani - extremely big portion of super spicy rice + 5 small pieces of meat which was really hard to find. Nobody asked us about level of spice while we ordered but I didn't expect that fire. Had a feeling that rice was made god all rice content meals and meat was added in the last moment. So the tastes were not merged at all.Chana masala - was spicy as well, but it was more predictable. The portion size this time was normal. It was decent meal with garlic naan but nothing special. Not that kind of experience you want to repeat:(

We ordered a to go chicken curry naan bread and a tikka masala last evening. Very disappointed with the tikka masala a watery spicy soup gristle meat...nothing like the creamy tasty dish we had elsewhere. Stay away from this menu item!
One of the worst Indian restaurant to visit in Oakland. There is a skinny girl(waitress) does not even know how to behave with customers. I would recommend the management to fire her as she is ruining the business. Very very very dissatisfied with the customer service. To your response below, we were a group of 10 people and we we’re deciding what to order from your restaurant and in the meantime you came to our car and started yelling at us. Shame on you and on your service. Thank god we did not give you any business as you don’t deserve it…
The skinny girl with black hair is a disgusting human being and deserves to be fired. Would never eat here knowing that she works there, she swears at customers. She has no idea how to control her emotions and starts yelling without understanding what people are telling her. An embarrassment to Oakland and humanity as a whole.
Consistently great. Their dishes are always the same recipe and their take out has been a blessing during lockdowns. Big perfect garlic naan.
