Good food, atmosphere, music, and a nice lite Omakase experience. Pricey for someone who can eat a lot, like me. But it’s quality food, so expect to pay up a bit. I recommend at least giving it a try. Their seared fish and toro nigiri is good. Traditional makis and sushi rice is unique. Refreshing change up from the spicymayo/ sauce ladened makis in most typical Japanese restaurants. Just be sure to make reservations and use the online app if you want a guaranteed spot! They only have QR code menus and check for vaccinations, so be prepared for a smooth quick experience!

An unassuming, yet thoughtful place to dine at. What feels an intentional decision to focus on great food and terrific service. A small place that seats just a couple dozen people (at most). They do a great job of focusing on the food which only adds to the experience. Our sashimi was so fresh and buttery. Each bite was better than the last. The staff was patient, understanding and friendly.A great dining experience. Can't wait to come back.

This is the real deal. Enjoying this is an appreciation of craft. The selection of fish is amazing, including a few selections I'd never heard of, but unlike other places they don't rely solely on the fish for flavor. Each piece (and the rice! And the soy sauce!) have nuance and depth and great combinations of flavor. In particular they don't skimp on the vegetarian maki - it was just as good as any fish option.

Cute sushi spot that is serious value. I don’t think you can do better than this for $25. Not the most accessible area, but I’d def come back for it. Nigiri combo was on point! It did not disappoint.Only thing I would like to have them change is the atrocious chopsticks. They were really terrible and cheap, like daiso quality. I would at least get one tier higher wooden chopsticks because they were not good to use or hold.

Was lucky enough to eat outdoors here on a Saturday. Seating is limited to the sushi bar indoors and one or two tables outside. We arrived right around opening and ordered the Sushi Nigiri set. You can let the chefs decide the order or pick your own. We let the chefs decide the first time and then each ordered another set with some of our favorites and ones we hadn’t tried. The toro and trout really stood. The belt fish had a nice smokey flavor from being torched. All the pieces were seasoned individually so no need for soy sauce. This place does get busy with takeout orders but I think that’s an indication of how good the food is. It’s worth the wait.

Some of the best, non-pretentious, no frills sushi in the Bay Area. I love that they marinate the sushi rice and add a little wasabi in between the fish and rice. Also, the fatty tuna nigiri is heavenly.

Sashimi combo cuts are much thinner than other restaurants with same price or less. Watch the tips are charged for two but they didn’t tell.

A fun little place for some sushi and tea. My friends and I walked in last Friday evening and had a few different rolls. They do not have a wide selection, but the sushi they do have is good. The best part of the meal was the hot brown tea they kept serving, which was very pleasant on a chilly night. The place is worth stopping by, but I probably won't return.

We ordered sashimi through delivery. It is a little over $40 including tax and delivery. The set has 16 pieces of sashimi, two of each 8 kinds. Overall, the sashimi is very fresh and tasty. I especially like the fresh scallop. For this price, I think it should include rice and miso soup.

I just spent $31 for the nigiri combo and it was TINY. I am looking for dinner now, because that was the size of a small appetizer. The quality of fish was very good, but the size was 1/4 the size of any nigiri at any other restaurant. Extremely disappointed. ?
