Korean Soup Chicken Wings

We went there twice already in one month. There foods are automatically tasty. We loved the pork belly wraps especially and the garlic fried chicken. The spicy soup we ordered was fantastic the second time we had it. However, the service somehow left us unsure what to expect from here and other Korean restaurants. Maybe it’s the culture that makes us unable to understand the under-service. I mean, if a restaurant expects customers to tip for 18% upwards, usually they will take care of you pretty well and check on you during the meal. Maybe we expected to much from them. We just felt reasonably under-served.

Go to daeho in San Francisco it will be better balance and flavor and worth the wait.Seems like spicy is the primary flavor. Meat was generally tough with a little flavor but they put heat spice in everything with very little else. They are pretty busy so there are folks who like this kind if in your face spice.Def a won't go back experience.

Yummy tummy dishes. The vaccination certificate is still required at restaurants in the City of Oakland. We came for lunch on Saturday and only waited about 10 minutes. Service was great! We enjoyed the ban chan before our main dishes arrived. We ordered the creamy rose noodles, blood sausage and cheek soup, and the braised short rib. All delicious and generous portions.

Amazing food! The spicy galbi is amazing! the medium size is plenty for 2 people and we had enough to take home. Make sure to get the cheese on top. Best Korean food in Oakland!

The food is pretty good. On the other hand the service is very slow. If you sit outside the waiter will rarely come to you.

Food is good but be aware tip is included. Did not realize this until we got home.

The staff is really friendly it is very clean and a very good setup. But there's a lot of issues there is not much for two people in menu so expect to go as a group not as two people or single. The wait is really bad we were on the waitlist and it took almost an hour and 30 minutes after delay after delay. My brother got food poisoning eating the chicken katsu so I would suggest not getting that. And when sitting at the tables they have a little lower shelf that comes out for utensils. I did cut my knee on it because it is too low and it's a good idea but they should change that up. And food was good just certain things you have to avoid. The only gripe that I have but not in this area or the restaurant issue is breaking my car got broken into so do be careful parking around there

Was so delicious I forgot to take a picture. We got the Rose Tteokbokki, and the half and half Soy and Yangnyum chicken. Everything was absolutely incredible, and the staff were all lovely. Easily my new favorite Korean place in the bay! Tteokbokki was delicious and so soft and chewy, chicken was cooked perfectly and the pickled radish and kimchi were just great too. Would definitely recommend anything we got. Easy 10/10 ? Can’t wait to come back!!

This place is definitely all time my favorite korean restaurant in Oakland. I highly recommend joining the yelp waitlist since there is a long line specially during the weekend. We get braised short rib(gal hi jjim), beef short soup(gal bi tang), rose creamy spicy rice cake, and pork back bone casserole(gam ja tang). The meat was perfectly tender and the portion was huge comparing to Dae ho in sf. Everything was great 10/10. This is great place to come when you are craving for korean comfort food.I highly recommend this place to anyone interested in authentic Korean food!

Korean comfort food. The short ribs with cheese was unique and tasty.
