We Finally made it to Monster Pho. We've heard so much about this place and their Monster pho (both taste and size) didn't disappoint. The robot servers were fun too. You order and pay for your meals online. We went for Sunday lunch and there was a bit of a wait but not that long.Hubby got the Monster pho and the broth was really good. We also had the imperial rolls which was basic. I ordered the greens bowl with grilled chicken. I love that they offer this as I always ask the vermicelli noodles to be replaced by veggies when I'm eating at other vietnamese restos. The chicken was flavored well but was on the tough and dry side. I wish it was more tender.It's probably not going to be our go- to vietnamese resto since it's on the pricier side and a bit of a drive for us, but it's overall a good experience.
We found this gem on Google and stopped by the new location before heading back to Sacramento. We both ordered the Beef Pho with 3 meats. We both chose the steak, brisket and meatballs. It was DELICIOUS! The Pho was so clear and satisfying. We also ordered the Ginger Lemonade which was also very satisfying. Whenever we're in Oakland and we want some good Pho, we know where to go!
? Robots are taking over the ? My 1st time here at this location of Monster Pho (Oakland). Robots were bringing to my table the food and drinks. Can't decide if I really like this or not? I don’t know what happened. This place used to be amazing. I get that times are though but you can’t raise prices and also make portions smaller, pick one or the other. Also, adding tons of onion to disguise the less meat only makes it worse. Disappointed but not enough to not give them another try.
Super friendly staff, really chill environment, and delicious food. I come here on a regular basis all the time with friends and the owner regularly stops by to make sure we’re enjoying everything. I messed up my order one time and the server remembered it wasn’t my regular order, they changed it out for me. I could not ask for better service.
This review is long overdue!Monster Pho is the BEST Pho in the Bay Area!!Their customer service is phenomenal, they really care about their customers and always make them feel welcomed! I am so glad they are so close by. Also, their Banh Xeo is the best one I've had (I do always ask for extra pork and shrimp though), their Thai Tea is also soooooo freaking good!!! So happy every time we go and they know who we are (they always let me know if they have Banh Xeo available lol).Also, thank you so much for surprising my husband and I with some dessert for our two-year anniversary ❤️.Y'all are the best!
Shared a huge Monster Pho Vermicelli Combo and Imperial Rolls.The combo was packed with chicken, beef and shrimp. The vermicelli was perfectly cooked. The owners mom runs the kitchen. The food is authentic.Excellent flavor. Good service. Not a fancy place but the food was delicious and priced fairly.
The Pho was delicious and the egg rolls crispy and hardy. The only downside was the robot service. It's cool and innovative but it takes away from the restaurant experience in my opinion (some people might like this). I would definitely go back tho for the amazing broth.
Some of the best, and definitely most aromatic bowls of pho I’ve ever had.I really like the new location but it can take a second to adapt to being served by a robot! (I know it’s contactless, and entertaining)Otherwise, incredible service, cool merch, and great food. Really good Thai ice tea as well.
Only been there one time first visit huge serving for their large Pho with garnishes and all flavor lovely definitely have to go back and try other things on their menu
