Best ramen I've had in the bay, and way better than the bland Marufuku. My go-to!
Healthy portion sizes and very quick service. Tofu was fresh and crispy. Cabbage salad was a surprise. Gyoza wasn't too greasy.
Delicious ramen ?? and some yummy side plates. I had to try the karaage, pretty good. ?? I'd like to go back to try other things on the menu.
Some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. I was a little apprehensive about paying $17 for a half order of crispy chicken at first but their halfs are huge it was twice as much chicken as what i was expecting. It could easily be split with another person. Spicy wasnt too spicy but thats not a negative it had a nice kick without being hot spicy. Bathroom was clean and service was good.
In looking at the menu online for a second visit, I forgot why I hadn’t saved this ramen shop on my likes. After the first sip of spicy miso broth, I quickly remembered why. No flavor.Beyond inmemorable, the broth was noticeably lacking any depth — a lot in spice, but barely any miso. The slices of pork belly were served cold. The presentation, not very presentable. A side order of chicken karaage, again, flavourless.I avoid giving this place one star as I haven’t tried their full menu. Maybe it was a bad day, maybe it was just those dishes. But the menu selection does look yummy, only I’m not sure I want to give the place a third try.
Ramen toppings were good! But the flavor of the broth was bland and the noodles also weren't too great.I also got the steamed gyoza - which was still lacking in flavor.
The tempura oysters are the best I have ever had. They are slightly soft and flavorful. I got the Shoyu Ramen medium spicy and it's got a great kick and is full of flavor. It's perfect for a cold night. The chashu is tender and flavorful. I'll definitely be coming back again and again.
Honey butter fried chicken is where it's at! Well ventilated and not crowded at lunch time, too. Indoor and outdoor dining options available.
