Definitely a spot worth checking out. I've ordered a variety of different sandwiches over the past week. So far every experience has kept me returning.
Not sure what all the hype is all about. Stopped by here for a quick takeout lunch since Ba Le nearby was closed. The special banh mi was just mediocre and absolutely not worth the $6 + tax. The fillings and toppings were pretty skimpy on substance with 80% bread. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you have a serious craving with no other option. Recommend trying Ba Le when they reopen in next month.
Delicious healthy sandwiches at a very reasonable price. There is often a line at lunch time so you can call ahead to have your sandwiches ready.
Hours posted til 7PM. Door open but gate is locked. No answer of the phone. Perhaps I'll try in a couple days but only if the other shops are closed
my go to bun mi is meatball (#10) + egg (add on) so when Bale closed during covid and i found this jem, i dont think I'll go back to Bale's #13 unfortunately. Mom's bun mi just had this juiciness and did not skimp on pate. I've also tried their spring rolls and other items which were great.
Really good, solid banh mi joint. The prices are affordable and the sandwiches are quality.
New staple! Super reasonable prices for how good their food is. Quality food that was fresh and tasty. I'm vegetarian and their egg and tofu sandwiches were both delicious. They have a parking lot which was a huge plus for an out of towner like myself that drives a rather large vehicle. ?. Super convenient location near the freeway.
Tried their pork belly banh mi, it looked good, but its taste was off. The meat had this 'overcooked' taste and it made me gag. I couldn't finish itI also got a thai ice-tea and it was OK, average. So instead of finishing this banh mi, I drove 2 minutes to Cam Huang and got a banh mi there and it was delicious. Same price but better taste.
Swift service. Affordable tofu banh mis ($4 each!). Extremely tasty! Love joints like these, extremely happy and thankful that places like these continue to operate during covid. The banh mi's were fresh - tofu, veggies, and the bun - and served in generous quantities. If you are driving, there are parking spots right in front of the place but it might get busy during lunch hour. Definitely going back for more!
My brother brought me here and we had the curry chicken and lemon grass beef sandwiches. Every bite from first to last was smile inducing. Savoring all ingredients in one big bite to the crunchy nibbles around the edges of the crispy warm delicious bread. This meal kickstarted my day into a good momentum. Thank you. ? ?❤️
