I watch the warriors games there. Lively vibe, friendly staff. The owner is quite vested in the community, helped to facilitate the City (Oakland) sponsored sidewalk parklet out front of the cafe.
I received the cheese burger and fries and it was delicious the fries are so delicious and the burger so thick as well as the tomato, it was my first time but I'll be sure to return

It was my first time visiting. Futbol was on the big screen and I ordered some fries......and they were SMACKIN'!!!The atmosphere was lively and friendly. I'll be going back there when next I scoot through MacArthur.
It's good for a quick bite on campus, and fairly inexpensive too. As I understand it's staffed by the culinary arts students, and I've always enjoyed the food.
Pretty good hot chicken for and a more manageable wait time than some of the other places LA has to offer. Came here on a Friday night for a late dinner. The line wrapped around around the building and I ended up waiting about an hour in line. After I placed my order I ended up waiting another 45 minutes for my food to come out. The inside was pretty packed but people were shuffling in and out frequently. I was able to find a spot fairly fast and I'd say between placing your order and waiting for your food to come out, you'll definitely be able to find a spot if you're looking to dine in.
Was looking for authentic paella negra made with squid ink. Finally found this place with very cozy atmosphere and outside dining. Great food and great ambience. Worth the drive to get to this place to celebrate a special occasion.
