Excellent ramen place with good service. Vegetarian options available.Their ramen was phenomenal. It comes in big bowls so it is a pretty big serving, could be two meals. You gotta reserve in advance since they may have a waiting time. Definitely recommend visiting.

Best vegetable ramen I ever had! The broth was so flavorful and spicy. It was a perfect place to hangout with our bay area friends!

Food: 5/5Service: 4/5Ambiance: 4/5Overall: I’d definitely come back to this place. The ramen was DELICIOUS!The extended review…Food:Pirikara Chicken Bites – 5/5 – A nice fried chicken sandwich. The flavors were amazing and one bite encompassed a multitude of texutres.Chicken Paitan dx – 5/5 – WOW! A chicken leg AND ramen?!?!? Yes please! I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to have one of these limited dishes. The ramen was so rich and tasty. And of course who could say no to a chicken leg.Service: 4/5 – Friendly and attentive service.Ambiance: 4/5 – We were lucky enough to not have to wait too long for a seating. But the place was packed and remained packed for the entire duration of our stay there. The interior was pretty nice as well.

Had the Tonkaksu ramen and it was excellent. This is the real stuff!! Also had the Marufuku Bites pork buns to start, edamame, hot sake and a Sapporo beer. Everything was good, service was great and affordable for the serving size and quality. Sat out front in their covered seating on the street. Would definitely go again.

First time trying ramen and I finished my entire bowl. The broth was so flavorful and had the perfect temperature. I asked for spicy and it was perfect. The amount of noodles was filling. I would say the amount of pork they had was pitty. Service was great, our server was knowledgeable about the drinks.

I really enjoy Marufuku Ramen - quite possibly my favorite ramen in the East Bay. If you drive over the bridge to SF, you’ll have your pick of premium ramen offerings like Mensho, or to the South Bay, you can find Orenchi, but compared to the rest in the East Bay, Marufuku is best. We order the veggie ramen and the chicken paitan (not many ramen shops in the East Bay offer this). Their filled with that rich umami flavor that’s not overly salty, with chewy noodles, and an amazingly custard-like soft boiled egg. We also order the karaage and mentaiko bowl, cheap and tasty. Take out is usually a 15-minute wait, but seating is hard to come by during evenings, especially during the weekend. They have parklet seating on Telegraph, but the driving and walking situation in Temescal is a madhouse.

I ordered pork belly bun and Hakata Tonkotsu DX ramen. Somehow I like the pork belly bun better, I think it’s because the pork belly is grilled in the bun. Ramen is good in general and the broth is not salty!

Really good Ramen. Cool little place in a nice little strip of restaurants and bars. Be prepared for a bit of a wait. Great ramen.

Disappointing. The gyoza were small and not very crispy. The chicken chashu is overcooked and a little dry on the inside. The wait staff were mechanical. There's much better ramen for this price so I can't recommend this place.

Our first time eating here and it won't be our last! Ramen as the name states, one vegetarian which they can make Vegan. I had Hakata Tonkatsu DX. A delicious and filling ramen dish, the Pork Belly was plentiful and tasty as well as all the veggies and boiled egg!Parking is always an issue in the area now that it has been gentrified. So plan on circling the block until you see someone walking to their car.
