Been meaning to go here forever, can't believe it took so long. It was fantastic and we'll definitely be going again soon!
We ordered the needy meaty burger and fight the power chicken sandwich.I didn't had high expectations about the needy meaty burger because it's made from impossible burger, bit let me talk you, this is the best burger I ever had!!! Most try! Can't wait to go back.We also had fries and cookies and cream shake, all very good
Amazing! We went here for the first time Sunday (01/23/2022) The food was FABULOUS One of the best vegan sandwich I've been to in a long time. I would recommend this to non vegans all day. The sandwiches we had were the patty melt and the chicken and waffles both freaking fantastic. The chicken and waffles is an experience not to pass up!
Hands down the best burger I've had! Recently turned mostly vegetarian and in my search for vegetarian restaurants ran in to Malibu's! Awesome food, tastes better than beef. The umami flavors are great and I crave Malibu's every week!
I got the chicken tenders, fries, and a strawberry milkshake. Overall I think the food was a bit bland, but it's nice that they have a lot of options! There are a lot of options for milkshake flavors (although they do seem to run out of ingredients frequently), and lots of sauces (I had the blackberry habanero sauce and was disappointed in its lack of spice and jam like consistency)
Amazing culinary experience. Wouldn’t have even known it was vegan if I didn’t know ahead of time. Food was delicious and came our perfectly. Staff was so friendly and nice. Will be back often. Can’t wait to try more items!
Fab.u.lous! Crossed the bridge to go here. Nothing in SF like this ?I'm thinking that I need to go every week to try each burger. OmniPork? Fish fillet? All vegan and super tasty and I'm not even vegan. Everyone in the line was giving their 2 cents on what to eat, but I had my heart set on the Tasha Grande -- which really did taste like a Big Mac.Feb 2022 - There's not really a place to sit outside, so get it to-go or bring your proof of vaccination and sit in the spacious dining area. We felt really safe since everyone was checked. Much appreciated.
These burgers are very tasty but quite pricey, that’s to be expected anymore with an all vegan restaurant. I love how much customization was offered on the menu. We grabbed two chicken sandos and an impossible burger and loved all the flavors! Unfortunately for us the fries were cold (but still very yummy.)
I think the quote from my fellow diner sums it up perfectly. After tasting his burger, he said "this is good....but it is not $16 good". For that matter, it was $20 including the Tater Tots. It was a good burger. Nothing special or mind blowing. Just good. I think many will have the thought that I had after dining there - which is "$20, really? for that? Certainly, the goal is laudable (making vegan burgers), but - beyond that - there is nothing special about what they serve that justifies the price point. Maybe there is no way to pull it off in terms of paying their rent, wages, and the premium for inputs (impossible more expensive than beef), but I wonder then how sustainable their business model is if they are counting on customers to pay this premium in the service of their laudable goal. I will be surprised if they are in business in 5 years. If I am wrong, I will return and have another burger and pay the $25 that they will be charging by that time.
Got the Malibu Burger and Bottom Fries. Both were absolutely delicious. It was raining out so there was no line, guess we got lucky. Staff was super nice, will definitely be back!
