This. Place. Is. Dope! I always give respect to a bar that has St. Germain infused drinks on their menu.! The bocce ball space, the lighting, the vault, all super cute! Hella tasty empanadas, double bonus points because they had turkey bacon inside! ONLY reason they get four stars it's because my homie Dan said they had an amazing oxtail sandwich on the menu and it was gone so I couldn't try it. Please consider bringing it back? Highly recommend this spot in Downtown, NOT uptown, Oakland! ??✨?
As someone who used to be semi regular here, its disappointing to get bad vibes from this place.The pandemic definitely affected this place. It used to get people from the fox theater and other businesses in the area so it was more lively.Also, It does not look like people are happy working here as I didn't feel welcomed. I did notice the bartender was dealing with a rude customer...so I guess that energy just get passed on. (however...didn't feel good energy from anyone)Hopefully it goes back to being a cool "hang out spot" or "spot to take a date" and not a "unwelcoming odd club music bar" once the pandemic is behind us. Everyone who I remember at this bar doesn't look to work there anymore.
Real nice place ! Great location , staff super friendly , drinks top notch , nice crowd recommend very much !!
They have very good drink selection; especially, their cocktails and at a very reasonable rate. Their draft beer selection is very good, as well. The bartenders are awesome and they’ve been in business for awhile. Last but not least, they offer decent snacks like empanadas and popcorn, especially, when you have been drinking.
Good place for happy hour. Wasn't crowded when I was there. Service was good and friendly.
This local cocktail bar has great indoor bocce which may or may not be available when you visit. The drinks are delicious and the staff is friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. As the night gets later. Sometimes there is dancing!
no complaints great location parking is tricky i can’t trust the parking lot. i suppose emporium has some sort of waitress problem and thy use that back lot from what i hear plenty of cars broken into an suspicious Bar backs on break BB.i think my car is not safe unless it is right next to the location but always worth another go for great menu an staff.we did enjoy this ginger an rum option thanks so much! loving my visit to the bay area still.
Worst crowd of any bar in the entire city of Oakland, and that has been consistently true since it opened. Drinks are ok but ok is bad at that price. Better off going to a dive bar and getting to know the town not just the people passing thru
Food so good, drinks are great. Really nice atmosphere and great customer service.
It was my first time the customer service was great. Our waiter Shomari kept our tables clean. He very attentive and fun to talk to.
