Delicious and creative menu with plenty of gluten-free options. Attentive and fun servers made us all feel like family. Brought a water bowl for our pup as well! Highly recommend!
Great food, service, cocktails, and patio. Weâll be back.
We were looking for a restaurant to dine outdoors and found Lovely Day. The outdoor space is comfortable (not a parklet!), the service is very attentive and the food is delicious. I would also add that the experience was a great value; my wife and I had a cocktail, wine and two courses for less than $200 including tip. We'll save room for dessert next time. :)
The historic venue is lovely. We sat outside on the patio and had interesting cocktails and delicious fried polenta appetizers. The main dishes were tasty, the server was attentive and friendly and the lemon pudding for dessert was heavenly. This would be a fun place to bring a group and it was also very nice for date night with my husband. Weâll definitely come back.
We had a group of 15 and our experience was wonderful. The overall ambience is gorgeous, inside and outside; the service is outstanding, and the food is all so delicious! The cocktails are creative and pretty too! A beautiful summer night outside with old friends. Just perfect!
It was an awesome first date location, although the host did seat the party at different tables at first. It was easily corrected though
Lots of space outside, great for kids. Staff were very friendly and food was good. Will definitely come back.
As a family with 4 celiacs, we were so excited to see the many gluten-free options on the menu at Lovely Day. We weren't disappointed either because everything was delicious. The chicken schnitzel was especially good. In addition, there were great craft cocktails and wine. As a party of 8, we sat in what felt like a private party room. The room was set off from the main dining room and beautifully decorated. The service was great even with a large party. We with definitely go back and maybe try the nice outdoor seating next time!
This is my second time there. The food is wonderful. The presentation is spot on too. The cocktails are fun. It's the service. If they could just get the timing down. I had to look for our server a few times to order appetizers and then the entrees. If they can not make the customer wait so long between courses then I'd give them a 5.
I'm a long-time fan of Grace Street, and and wanted to check out their new restaurant for a celebratory dinner I'm planning. It's perfect! The servers were all both incredibly friendly and efficient and the outdoor courtyard is casual and fun, with a distinct Oakland vibe. Oh, and the food was dee-lish! Reasonable prices. Can't wait for the event!
