They are soooo great! The food is delicious. They are truly the most sincere and accommodating restaurant staff I’ve met. When the food didn’t taste quite how I imagined (still good but more seafood flavor than I was used to for that dish, so I stole my boyfriend’s meal heh), they noticed that I didn’t eat a lot of it and generously removed it from the bill. Then the manager asked for our feedback on all the food and gave more recommendations. We wrapped up with a delicious tres leches cake.
I had late lunch with my family here. This was my first time coming to try this place. We had the trio, whole chicken with beans and sweet potato fries, and pork chop. I have to say the chicken was tasty and wasn't dried up. The pork chop was nicely sauced. The services were great AND they don't calculate the mandate and tax with tips together. I definitely will come back for more.
Great food, definitely try the Arroz con mariscos, and a ceviche. Drinks were really good too. And save some room for the tres leches!
I used to work at the original location in San Francisco and the quality has gone down significantly. Service was fine but the food was mediocre at best. The chicken was dry, the salad dressing was bland and the plantains were so thick it would be impossible to cook them through without burning the outside. After bringing this up with the manager he decided to take our leftovers and not comp anything until we asked to have at least the plantains removed. Overall if this is the standard of all the locations I won't be going back again.
ATMOSPHERE:Trendy bistro atmosphere with a bar in the middle. No outdoor seating that I saw.FOOD:Empanadas: Deep fried and delicious, but somewhat small as a main entree. I suggest adding an appetizer to fill out the empanadas.Rotisserie chicken: I got the 1/4 chicken white meat with two sides. The chicken was tender juicy and the skin crisp, and the dipping sauce that comes with it was really delicious. Oneo f the sides were a side salad which was simple and somewhat underwhelming, but the second side was the Chifa Vegetables. ORDER THE CHIFA VEGETABLES, they were fantastic. It was green beans in a sweet caramelized onions sauce, very good!
We had our end of the year team lunch here, and the food was amazing. We had ceviche, salad, Brussels sprouts, lomo saltado, chicken, and empanadas. One of my coworkers got the Panna Cotta for dessert, which looked yummy also. Service was great (bonus points for being able to accommodate 24 of us), and I'm sure we'll be back someday.

Absolutely Addicting! Once you Limon you can't go back. The ceviche mixto is my personal favorite dish paired with the taro chips and rossoto salsa. It's on hit like one of those boxing test your power machines. Knockout! The trio has the perfect blend of goodness yum yum. I've tried both the chicken and beef empanadas. They are delicious! The kale salad with a side of chicken is highly recommended! If you're still hungry, which I usually am I suggest you try the lomo saltado. The tres leches cake puts other cakes to shame. Limon is the place you go to celebrate life. Life is better with a little Limon in it. Buen provecho!
We ordered several dishes and all of them were very tasty and freshly made. Enjoyed our meal very much!
Decent Peruvian spot in downtown just off Broadway (near Target). Came for dinner with a friend on a Saturday night a couple weeks ago.First impression was the ambiance - place was pretty bright and the lighting could use some changing. Bar area had a cool design but other than that, everything else was kind of bland. The walls were pretty barren and the whole restaurant just lacked decor that would add some flavor to the space.Food quality was solid. We had some chicken & beef empanadas to start and lomo saltado for entrees. Flavors were on point and tasted pretty authentic. Only gripe here is the price point of everything seemed 10-15% too high.Overall, not sure I’d come back here just yet. Ambiance (music, lighting, decor) was really lacking in my opinion but I’m rooting for Limón to succeed. I’ll be back if they vibe the place out a bit and add some more of that Peruvian flavor beyond just the food!
