I tried the vegetarian sushi here and it was delicious!The miso soup is SO good and tasted heavenly after a chilly walk to the restaurant.
Definitely more of a doordash factory or place to go if it’s late and you’re drunk hungry. We ended up here bc it was Sunday night at 9pm and other sushi places were closed.The staff were very nice but the sushi was pretty terrible. Dry rice, gritty unagi, lack of seasoning. The prices were moderate ($80 for 2 people, one beer).I would definitely recommend somewhere else (and eating earlier) if you want to have a nice meal.
Always a good price for decent sushi. The remodeling they have done in the last couple of years is really nice - it has a fresh new feeling to an old favorite restaurant. The food has felt upgraded lately too - better fish, better rice. I definitely will continue to return here in the future
Good food, reasonable price, friendly staff. Nice place to hangout with a group of people.
amazing chirashi
We stumbled upon this place while in Berkeley and damn amazing. Hot and crispy tempura, fresh and wonderful. Genuine service with a while.
Sushi was just fine. Didn’t like that raw tuna, tasted weird.Noodles were better.
Great sushi rolls. My only thing is the soft shell crab was servwd cold.
