Nice atmosphere, classic and unusual sushi offerings and hot yakatori and donburi dishes also. A winner.
Great food, they use real crab and it makes all the difference. The nigiri is really solid, melt in your mouth salmon and a wide selection. Every roll we've gotten here has been at least good if not excellent. Excellent sake selection as well. This is our treat sushi spot.
Very clean, excellent menu with very creative rolls. The nigiri ? sushi is fresh and the best I’ve had to date. Personable, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Japanese beers are on point, cold and priced right. This a “locals favorite” which feels very welcoming and the freshness will be bringing me back. Cheers!
This was excellent. My partner and I shared the garlic edamame, miso soup, spicy scallop roll, Alisha role, and crunchy mocha mousse cake. Everything was delicious. The edamame was very flavorful, marinated in garlic and soy sauce. The miso soup was about as good as miso soup gets the way all sushi spot serve it. The Alisha role was cold smoked and provided and interesting experience. The scallop role was amazing. Super fresh, fantastic texture, more spicy than I was expecting. The mousse cake has a crunchy layer (crème brûlée?) that was delicate and delightful? The wait staff was kind and personable and the atmosphere was relaxed and upbeat. I will be going back.
Contemporary Japanese fare that is fantastic. We enjoyed almost everything we have ordered. The quality of their fish is excellent and service is friendly. Nice spot for a date night. My only qualm is the service is inconsistent depending on who is working.

Great food and service. We keep coming to this amazing place and leave never disappointed. We always get the miso soup and Oakland pd roll and the teriyaki chicken with rice... AMAZING! Five stars always.
Great overall experience - attentive staff, good selection, and fresh. Tried sake for the first time (recommended by our server) and thoroughly enjoyed it :) The outdoor space is a plus. Will definitely be back!
