fresh, high quality fish. You can tell how good it is when trying to order Friday or Saturday night gives you a 1hr wait time. It’s a gem of a local sushi place. The rolls are VERY big and worth the price. You only need one of anything $14+ with maybe a small classic roll, miso, or salad. Every time I order two, I have to share it.
Great lil spot. We ate in the back area, considered outdoors but it's covered n they had heaters. Very nice ambience. Food was very good n fresh! Service was great, and the food came right out. Would definitely go back!!?
4 words: Blue Fin Lover’s Roll. If you come here, it is a must order. It is now my favorite sushi roll to date. It’s got black truffle pate and it changed the game. More sushi establishments should utilize black truffle. The dragon roll was also fantastic. Service was great. Rolls were delivered faster than we could finish our complementary miso soup.
Great service and ambiance. Sushi was good, not great, but well presented. Relatively small amount on the sashimi.
Beautiful patio (covered, heat lamps, clean!) and delicious food. Portions were generous and the fish is FRESH. Went on a Sat night around 7 and it was not crowded. We only ordered rolls but plan to come back for katsu!
The rolls were really good! Forgot to take pics of them though.
Everything was awesome. Sake was really good. But the best for me is Sashimi. The best sushi in town ever. Love it ?
This place serves really good sushi. Love the presentation and the outdoor dining is spacious. It does get a little cold in the evening time, but the customer service is great!
Well, I'd love to comment on the food and service, but we walked out before any of that. We were offered a spot outside on the patio, then were told it'd be about 5 minutes. 15 min later, more people that came in were seated inside and no one acknowledged us waiting. The people who were sat didn't even get any service, which is why we ultimately decided to walk out.
Second time dinning here. Loved every hot plates, sushi, and sashimi we ordered. Definitely one of the best spot in Oakland, and dare I say, one of the best spot in East bay. Highly recommend!
