I always ordered the fish and oysters. Have to let them know don't fry my auster's too hard but everything else is great
While this place is fairly out of my way, if it were closer I'd be going there all the time. I got chicken, fries, toast, hushpuppies, and a slice of cake. Chicken was a solid 10/10, fries and toast were surprisingly good, and the hushpuppies were literally the best I've ever had. Cake was pretty good too, but I went there for a different brand of cake, so I have an unfairly lower view of it. I can recommend the special sauce, too, stuff is great, with just the right amount of spice.
Great food and desserts. I was highly impressed with young gentlemen who worked behind the counter for their menu knowledge as well treating every customer as though they were an everyday regular. Every customer was greeted and thanked for their patronage. Excellent experience!
This place is literally just frozen stuff reheated. I paid 60 bucks for frozen shrimp, frozen chicken nuggets and some soggy fries, and all the sides I had to add salt pepper and vinegar to as there was no flavor. Would have been better off going to McDonald’s!
I actually like the food seasoning was good chicken was good shrimp was good they have a pretty big selection of cakes by The slice my only gripe is I ordered red beans and rice as a side dish and it was not southern style basically just boiled beans with some white rice no seasoning

This one in particular on W. Grand is the best! They can cook. Don’t go to the one on MacArthur… that one is awful! This one on Grand is delicious!!!

The food was a bit salty but it was good. I keep going back every time I'm in the area..
$15 and no salad and no hush puppies. It's supposed to be a large plate with four pieces I was expecting more fries.
