I was super disappointed in the flavors for the vegan macs . It really lacked any kind of cheesy flavor and the sauce was dry. I will say that while the sauces looked grainy and dry, it felt soft and creamy on the tongue. Beware, the Mexican style is very spicy, but it was equally disappointing. I gotta say, I’m glad I tried it, but I can make better vegan cheese sauce at home. As for service, it would be nice for someone to check in and ask if everyone waiting in line has been helped or have a better system for folks who have been helped and are waiting from those who just arrived and awaiting some recognition to ask about their order.Update:I tried Homeroom again two more times because I was craving vegan Mac n Cheese, and I was still underwhelmed both times. The second time I ordered, I ordered a regular white cheddar Mac for my brother also and he said he said it was bitter and did not like it. If I weren’t vegan, I would like to try their regular cheese options, but since I am, I have to find good vegan Mac somewhere else.
I've ordered here a few times. This place is delicious! I'm a big fan of the Aged White Cheddar Mac.
The manager is a sick man that will eye your body the entire time you wait for your food. Don’t even think about trying to order over the phone, you will be greeted with the worst customer service or he will flat out refuse to take your order.
Gonna be honest. I’m lactose intolerant but sometimes just gotta do it. The goat cheese Mac and cheese was yummy.
Most recently got the vegan mac with breadcrumbs and fried shallots. I normally get it with just breadcrumbs - the fried shallots made it more dry than usual. Wouldn’t recommend the fried shallots- but would definitely recommend the vegan mac with breadcrumbs. One of the best vegan mac’s I’ve had a restaurant
This was my first trip to the Bay and the first place my boyfriend wanted me to try was Homeroom.I don't remember exactly what we ordered but it was garlicky and DELICIOUS!!!!! Do not miss out by not trying this place. You will not be disappointed.
Wow! It's been too long, I haven't been in a few years and that's a big mistake on my part. This new to-go spot is exemplary! The Tikka Mac is insanely good, highly highly recommend!

I was really sad the front doors were wide open on a 45 degree night. Kind of hampered an otherwise tasty meal. I'll go back but will do it take out probably.
Worst customer service. There is one employee who needs some training and learn how to respect others. She is rude.
