Classic Hong Kong Cantonese food. Good prices for good food.
Wonton and Shrimp Dumpling Noodle Soup
The food isn't the greatest. I ordered the hot pot short ribs, the beef was so tough that I couldn't eat it. I had a problem when I tried to explain this to them. They expected me to pay for something that was inedible. HONEY, I was not having it and put an end to that ish real quick! I would NOT eat here again and i don't recommend this restaurant to anyone
Great choice for roast/broiled/steamed deli specialties and an extensive cafe menu that's available in Chinese and English. Standouts are roast pork, roast duck, soy chicken, and offal mix (ngow jaap). Steamed rice rolls are made fresh and to order as well, highly suggested if you've never had it SUPER fresh!Staff communicates well and handles crowds with ease. Our go-to whenin the area, and definitely recommend coming in for takeout (or dine in when safe). Parking in the area can be a challenge, but the Pacific Renaissance Plaza underground lot is fast and convenient.
We got in a little after 6pm. They were closed at 7pm. We were literally rushed out and didn’t finish our meal. That was quite rude. I won’t be coming back. The food is average casual Cantonese style Chinese food. Nothing to write home about.
This place may not be the cleanest buuuut you're coming here for the food! Bwahaha. So don't come here if you get grossed out with things like that. ? I came here to "snack" on some rice rolls cause I love them!- Duck: Needs more duck! There were also chopped bones thrown in. Boo. But so good!- Shrimp: Needs more shrimp! There were only 4. :(- Dried Shrimp: Yum.- BBQ Pork and Cilantro: My favorite!- Chili Oil: it's not spicy but more so for flavor I guess. Stir it well or you'll scoop up the salt and it'll make your food super salty.I'll keep coming back when I'm in the area and may even try the egg noodles next time, even after seeing a large pile of noodles just chillin' on a table waiting to be put away haha.
Really tasty food at this restaurant in Chinatown. We ordered house special clay pot, Singapore style chow fun, seafood tofu soup and egg rolls. My favorites are the clay pot and the chow fun. They are also diligent about sanitizing tables between customers.
Great selection of dishes. We had enough for another meal.
I ordered the shrimp omelette. I got an egg pancake with some shrimp, random white sauce, and some peas and carrots laying on it. No flavor. I usually order and love egg dishes from Chinese restaurants but this was really disappointing and didn’t taste good. It didn’t taste disgusting, I didn’t taste much of anything period. It came with French fries that, instead of salt, had been covered in sugar. While weird, actually tasty.
Century egg porridge is sooo good with chinese fried donuts!
