We ordered the chilaquiles. I'm not sure if it's a style native to Mexico but these had bell peppers and a tomato heavy sauce. We ordered the chilaquiles verdes and they just tasted different. We're more used to the version with tangy salsa verde, egg, and tortilla.If you're looking for that, don't order these. If you're looking for chilaquiles in a different style, these might be it.
Been coming here since I think 2003.Any time I'm craving some bomb burritos I make the drive cause they are delicious and gigantic. So worth it I remember when they were I think 13 bucks now they a bit more than 20 but I'm still buying them cause no other burritos compare to it.Also bomb horchata!Also now that I think about it I don't think I've ever eaten in the restaurant just the truck outside haha
Great service from waitress but the young manager does not need to be the manager he is very rude I paid $18 cash and $10 on my debit card my bill was $28 he was the one at the bar making the drinks I always come here and get drinks their great tonight horrible my margarita top shelf tasted like medicine so I had already paid for my bill I called him over and explain to him that the drink was nasty I already paid for it so what is a solution he kept insisting to me that it was the the same as my friends he wanted to go back and forth with me and we were having a debate and as I let him know you're the manager let's just solve this so after going back and forth with him for 5 minutes I had to let him know just give me a refund he told me that he had to void out the whole transaction and he could not give me cash even though I gave more cash than I paid on my debit card that the cash now belong to the restaurant I have never heard anything this Ludacris in my life
This is one restaurant in Oakland that does not miss! They are consistently professional, delicious, and clean. They have a little of everything along with some American classics that adds to the diversity and variety of menu options. I also love the Taco truck in front and how they allow you to pay inside with card if you dont have cash which eliminates ATM headaches. I'm grateful they seem to be holding up well through the pandemic and I hope they can remain operating for many many many more years to come because they are one of Oaklands many treasures. Shout out to Ms joventina who's been serving with excellence for a loooong time there ?? ❤
The prices might seem a little high but they're not because you get a huge amount of food and it's very well done. Get also get a la cart and it's the size of what most people serve as a meal and it's really well priced and comes on time and delicious. Lots of parking too.

This place sells super fresh food and it was kids friendly and comfortable place at 10:30pm. First time I ate burrito which was warm and lot of veggies, veggies quesadilla was good too.
I always ate at the truck outside and thought I would come into the restaurant. Service was horrible. Ordered the chile relleños and the batter was so thick and the cheese a big clump inside that made the chile itself seem pretty small. All in all, I'm probably sticking with the truck outside.

The street tacos & burritos & everything .....from this truck are always my favorite in the whole world! Really get some of these tacos or burritos always the made right, food flavor consistent, quick, best tasting, & served with by awesome people! ????
