Grinders is a great place to grab highly customized sandwiches & salads with great ingredients and a nice selection of breads and toppings. You can have it your way here for sure

Had a bummer of a time here yesterday afternoon. The owner greeted me with "it's been a long day." I ordered a 9" turkey sandwich with avocado, and he charged me $15.29. (Menu pricing is hard to decipher, but as far as I could tell, no 12" sandwich w avocado was over $12, so this didn't make sense.) When I asked him why he charged me $15, he explained to me that I had ordered a 9," which was "basically a sandwich and a half, and a normal sandwich is $10." I didn't press him, I just hoped the ingredients would be great. Sadly, it was more or less a Subway-quality sandwich at double the price. I want to support small businesses (especially the food and restaurant business), but I don't recommend this place given the over-priced, mediocre, surly service I just got.
Overpriced for what it is, but decent enough.
Ingredients were cheap, chicken was reconstituted and had a weird gelatinous texture. Sandwich was moist, which was a plus. The man behind the register was nice though.
I just want to order a damn sandwich not take a 500 question test.
There’s no way to go wrong here. You get the exact sandwich that you ask for and it’s great. The owner is hilarious and the roasted Turkey and ham is amazing.
