I really like their jajangmyeon and had the spicy rice cakes the next day, and added some egg and melted cheese on top.

So I've been eating a lot of Korean food lately! Must be from watching all those Korean dramas and watching the actors and actresses eating during the show! Just kidding!I love jajamyeon 짜장면(black bean paste, diced pork, vegetables) and jjampong짬뽕 (spicy seafood noodle soup). Gangnam (Oakland) does this very well and is able to put both comforting dishes into one separately! And I never say no to fried chicken? Maybe afterwards, I'll catch up on my K-Drama??

Fried chicken was so delicious. Crispy outside moist inside, what’s more to ask for! Ordered the honey cheese & soy garlic, which I liked them. Although I think it could be more garlicky Japchae was homemade, Haha

Their GanJaJang is absolutely amazing, the taste is rich & the portion is good. I espacially love the yellow radish, that really goes well with it! Now their KFC is the star of the meal, even my little one loves it. So soft & flavorful, no wonder the place is packed.

I ordered GAN-JJA-JANG. It’s very good!!I have travel a lot in US and I went Korean restaurant every time. This restaurant is NO #1 for this menu. It’s real Black bean noodles ! Please order this menu if you want to eat and enjoy JJA- JANG-Myeon.

Excellent fried chicken. Friendly staff.

I had the beans and spaghetti thing, which was okay. My buddies all ordered variations of fried chicken, which was very good.

Its a new and clean place. Very authentic Korean food. People nice here.

Even though the business changed hand, the taste IS SAME, GOOD! Complete renovation inside to very modern look.

New business (used to be Koryo Jajang up until Dec 2021), new owner, new interior (very nice and modern compared to old ghetto tables & chairs) and a very similar menu. The honey cheese fried chicken was amazing. The batter was perfectly crisp. It was both yummy and delicious. Now the bad part, the Jajang was too runny, wasn't flavorful (no black bean ompf to it nor umami), did have salt but not in a complimenting way. When it used to be Koryo Jajang, the sauce at least had the umami and starchy profile although it tasted very bland. Hopefully this new business improves their signature dish soon.In the meantime, I will continue picking up Kim's Jajang sauce and noodle from Koreana Plaza for my jajang addiction instead.
