Outdoor beer garden that has great venue for music
I'd give this space 3 or 4 stars based on its open, outdoor concept, except there is one single-use public bathroom in the back that serves the entire space (there is a second single use bathroom for Tennants only). You'll find long lines queue up quickly back there.
Went by the reviews and was pleasantly surprised by the service, food and beer quality. There's always room for improvement starting from none alcoholic drinks through outside seating and shade, however place would get a solid 4 stars for outstanding service, beer in authentic mugs, mouth watering bratwurst, beads, sauerkraut snd pretzels. Pick your battle and try it allWill see you next time, warm, welcoming Oakland's Forage Kitchen.
Cool experience.Beer in a boot! Awesome. The food is great, it's not cheap but it's a must try. The dough pasta is good and the postage pancakes as well as the pretzels and more.Give it a go!
Good food and beer. Outside seating, clean and friendly service.
Opening day. Got there at 7. Was told there was a two hour wait but after hanging around for 30 minutes I was told we could look for seating inside. The ambiance was great. There was a duo playing music and the food was delicious. Will definitely come back again for the food and beer.
Shawarmaji is delicious. I go at least once a week and if not I have withdrawal issues. Tuesday and Wednesday are lamb all other days are chicken. Make sure you get it with pomegranate molasses on the side for dunking.
