Well I ordered Chicken Pepian, which used to be very good. Guess what? It totally SUCKED. Hardly any flavor at all. Usually the sauce has a lot of "punch" to it, secret flavoring that the cooks use. Well, it didn't have it. It tasted like a little bit of pumpkin seed, maybe some flour, a little spice, some salt and the taste of the chicken itself. Meh.I asked for breast meat, and they gave me the boney back and a wing--almost all bone and skin! For vegetables there was only 1really limp green bean, 2 pieces of carrot, tiny bit of potato, hardly anything. From the cashier's unfriendly demeanor, I suspect she told the cook to make me a lousy dish on purpose. Also they purposely gave me the back and wing, when I asked for breast meat. Only the tortillas were good. And it was $15.00 at this really low-brow, nothing-fancy place. Waste of $$.They should make it more affordable for the local Guatemalans, who are usually low income.Won't be going back.
I'm of Guatemalan descent, and the food was authentic. Great flavor and good portion size.
Slow service food is good they need to be more organized

Perfect place to eat the Salvadorian food
The food is not bad ?♀️
Ordered chicken soup. Looked great but noticed no meat so, I tasted the broth it, was a bit on the salty side. Waited about 5 minutes longer then received the chicken separate from the main dish. Hand made corn tortillas which were delightful also ordered a drink named maracuya never heard of it but was tasty. For the price, I expected much better. The service was great, the facilities clean but, will not be visiting that establishment again.
Best chapin/Salvadoran spot in the bay, the pan relleno was bomb
