The presentation was good and restaurant was set up nice. Parking can be a pain in this area and possibly break INS. But it's nothing to reflect on the restaurant. Staff is fast and nice. Clean and nice to have a group. Food is not bad. But a little better quality could be use. But overall for my first time being here. It was a good experience.

Not AYCE, but the meat quality is really good and for the amount of food you get, it’s more than enough to be full.Good spot, great staff! Definitely recommend

Finally got a chance to check this place out. We went around 8:30-ish and there was no line. When we were seated, the server explained how the menu works, asked us if we prefer a type of meat more and gave us his recommendations based on that.We did the supreme pork set and an order of the large intestine. The pork set comes with a steam egg and a stew of choice. Everything came uncooked except for the pork ribs, which were amazing! The pork belly, pork jowl, prime shoulder butt and large intestine were all very good quality and came uncooked. The server occasionally comes help flip the meat and cut it for us when we are too busy stuffing our face.My favorite of the meal has to be the large intestine, which I believe is marinated because it was packed with flavors! My second favorite is definitely the pork ribs that came pre-cooked. But don't take that as the other options aren't great because they are also amazing! Meat quality definitely shines and brings out the pork flavor very well.Overall, I recommend this place. They also have a great selection of alcohol so you can get the true kbbq drinking vibes going!

Not AYCE. Price is on the higher side. Food is great. Will be back to try more. Came here because of SF Chronicle recommendation.-----Looking for something different from our usual go-to, we went to Don Blanc at noon on a weekend. The restaurant was quiet, and we were the only table. We ordered medium-size DonBlank combo with three different kinds of beef intestine, and an order of LA Galbi. It was clear that the quality of meat is better than regular AYCE places, and it developed a nice char on the cast iron grill. This was the first time for us to have Korean style grilled beef intestine. It was grilled table-side by the waiter with veggies. The waiter warned us that the intestine char easily, so we dig in immediately. In hindsight, we should've left it on the grill for a little longer to render the fat. The flavor was great and it went well with the sauces provided. We each had our favorite cut. Some intestine had a nice snap. Some had a softer texture. The exhaust fan was amazing at this place. I was surprised that I didn't smell like meat afterwards. The service was friendly and fast. The banchan was okay.

Babe wanted to cone here for his bday... so we did! Not sure if we'll be back.....but hey, it was worth a try. It's DEFINITELY the place for u if u admire expensive prices, beef and pork ONLY! NTL, food was good, ambiance, and music was cool as well.

This is the best KBBQ spot in Oakland. But this isn't an AYCE place so get ready to spend! :) The meat quality is top notch you won't be disappointed! Service is increbidly convenient and can be summoned by a buzzer.Meat: Overall, great quality and marbling better than 10 butchers or chung dam in san jose in my opinion.Highly recommend anyone seeking great meat and service!

It is the worst food I have had this year. I ordered a combo which contains three kinds of meat. All of them taste very bad. Some are too fat and some are very very hard to chew. There is a reason that there is few people here while the neighbor restaurant is full.

The first thing that caught my eye at this place was the grill which is the cast iron pan style instead of the typical grate. This type keeps all the flavors which is critical for the must get fried rice in the end. We got the beef set B along with the monster beef rib. The way they cooked and presented the rib meat was both fun and practical as after they cooked the meat they rested the pieces on the giant rib itself so it doesn't get overcooked. The galbi was tender and flavorful but we could still taste the beef flavor and not just marinade.Apparently they specialize in pork so we're definitely coming back to check out their non beef options. Overall it was a tasty kbbq experience. The only thing missing was blasting kpop haha.

Socal quality intestines. I’d rather come here for kbbq than other all you can eat places in oakland. Better quality of meat and service.

SF Chronicle:Oakland’s Temescal neighborhood is shaping up to be one of the most vibrant restaurant districts in the Bay Area, and the opening of Don Blanc this year makes that argument even stronger. A Korean meat palace that stays grilling until 2 a.m. every day, Don Blanc is made for the party crowd. Slivers of pork rib meat ($27.95) come marinated in a spicy sauce, with a satisfying char developed over hot coals. Servers cook the other meats on a cast iron grill on the table in front of you, complete with a powerful vent that keeps your clothes from absorbing the smoke. One of Don Blanc’s specialties is beef intestine, tender and chewy and available in three sizes.
