Overpriced food, terrible service, inflexible rules if one person in your party is late, unreasonable cancellation policy requires 2 days notice, extremely high cancellation fee of $100. What is there to like??
Absolutely amazing food served in a beautifully presentation amidst a charming, intimate setting. For covid safety reasons, they've put up plexiglass dividers which I honestly really enjoyed because it felt like we were in our own little world. Sushi Chef was amazing, great fish selections and presentation, and this was my first time having a female sushi chef, it was exciting to see!
A simply magnificent meal. My wife and I went for a rare date night in our frenetic lives. Among the highlights were the best green tea I have ever had, hands down(btw, it worth asking for the tea, it isn't on the drinks menu). Excellent sushi. Two pieces in particular stood out as the best two pieces of sushi that I have ever had. I couldn't tell you what they were and they will be different when you go, but I can tell you that they were better than what I waited for 2 hours in line for at the Tsukiji fish market. One had kumquat in it!There was a raw chocolate filled mochi that was perfect.And when I left I found myself focused on enjoying the moment. The infinite detail of experience and the beautiful experience of living in the here and now.We have been to Michelin 3 stars and Michael Mina, and Benu, and a special meal at a monastery in a world heritage site, and Commis and Manresa. I would put this up against any of them as an incredible experience worth having.
Unconventional innovative modern omakase. Feast with your eyes, mouth and nose!
Very very average food. This place feels like it’s trying to be something it’s not. Not well balanced flavors, some dishes were way too rice heavy with a teeny tiny piece of fish. No thanks.
Wonderful experience. Chef timed all of our courses perfectly and the service was warm. Highly recommend. You will leave feeling very satisfied
Had to cancel a reservation after testing positive for covid. They charged $200.00. Shameful business. They should be embarrassed
My husband and I went there for our anniversary and had an amazing experience. Everything was so tasty and fresh and beautiful presented. Already planning to come back when they update the tasting menu for the next season.
Really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, my friend contracted a fever the day before our reservations. Didn't think it was covid, but figured it was in everyone's best interest to postpone. Was able to cancel through their automated system, but since it was after the 48 hour mark, wanted to call and explain the situation. Mailbox full. I received a cancellation email that said if I had any questions, I could respond to the email. I did and was served a "no reply" response. I tried calling at different times of day with no luck, including when they were open. Was charged the $100 cancellation fee per person. Completely understand that the cancellation was after the 48 hour mark, but very disappointed in the lack of human communication.
Between Good and super Good for what it's worth, definitely worth a try....not Great.....still some work to do.
