Didn’t get the order right AT ALL! 1) it wasn’t ready on the day it was supposed to be ready, 2) did not offer to refund the money, and 3) the “replacement “ cheesecake was disappointing. Too sour, weird consistency. We got a sub standard cheesecake and a lot of excuses. We won’t be back and won’t be recommending this business to anyone.
Used Crumble & Whisk for a 140 box corporate order to be shipped to employees at their home addresses. Charles allowed me to curate boxes of 3 bars (cheesecake, brownie, blondie) and 4 cookies (chocolate chip, s'mores, lemon crinkle, churro). There were also GF and vegan options for those with dietary restrictions. Charles was very responsive and easy to communicate with whenever any questions arose. The team loved the baked goods and thought they were an awesome February surprise. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a large group order!
Poor customer service. I placed an order as a gift. After they confirmed the order over the phone, they canceled it? My delivery person was waiting there for ~30 minutes.
This picture does not do it justice at all, but this chocolate chip cheesecake was AMAZING! I wanted to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday after his dietary needs changed (gluten/dairy-intolerant, low sugar) and Charles made this gorgeous creation after chatting through favorite flavors & dietary needs.Not only was the cheesecake delicious, Charles was absolutely wonderful when we went by his kitchen to pick it up. He even let me hug him when I couldn’t contain my excitement :)I’m looking forward to having more amazing cakes from Crumble & Whisk in the future. So glad to have found them!
I ordered a couple of cheesecakes for my son who lives in the area (I am out of state). I put a comment asking the store to write a note saying "Happy Birthday, Love mom" and they went above and beyond. Thank you so much for your wonderful service. And, by the way, the cakes were fantastic I'm told! I will be visiting when in town and using your store again. Thank you so much.

Every year I buy him a cheesecake for his birthday since we've known each other. The owner/chef Charles Farrier was amazing to work with and super accomodating! He made the ordering process so easy for me and was great communicating with. I was able to order and get the Cheesecake delivered to my friend as a surprise for his Birthday. The delivery was also super fast under 30 minutes. I called several places in Oakland, California and the surrounding area trying to get him a cheesecake for his birthday and Charles was the only one willing to make it happen. My best friend was so surprised by it. My friend was so surprised by how big thick and heavy the cheesecake was. He said it was one of the most creamiest, flavorful, thick but buttery and light at the same time, and mouth watering cheesecake he has ever tasted before. And I have bought him a cheesecake for years from many different places. I can't wait to go visit him in California to try one of Charles cheesecakes. I will be ordering him cheesecake from Charles and Crumble & Whisk exclusively moving forward!I also saw that they are a black owned business which is amazing. #SupportBlackBusiness

Wish there were six stars! We substituted three flavors of seasonal cheesecakes for Thanksgiving in place of traditional pies. It was new and fun and absolutely delicious. Our guests loved them! They carried the warmth of Thanksgiving through the seasonal flavors. But honestly, we could have ordered any of his cheesecakes and people would be thrilled. Charles is a culinary master. His flavors are perfectly balanced. Sublime!
