An old school find in sleepy Montclair with a great menu. Indoor and outside seating plus a lively bar (separate from dining area). Inside dining seemed to be mostly retired couples when I went. The fish was too uniform to be anything other than a freezer bag item versus freshly battered but it was better than what I recently had in the uk so I’m happy-it was a great meal, served with fries and slaw and malt vinegar. I’d return.
Pleasantly surprised. Had a very good meal here on a Sunday evening. Excellent service, spacious dining area, very good food. This is a sports pub/bar, so likely a different atmosphere when it is a game day. Our group had the chicken piccata, chicken linguine, kids menu mac and cheese and grilled cheese sandwich with fries. Everything was very good and flavorful. Nice mix of clientele - a very family friendly menu. Next time, will try the rib and beef entrees based on our good first experience. Cannot say enough about the attentive and efficient service - and prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food.

My wife loved this place, it was her go restaurant. My wife and myself were there with our 2 grandson's. Everyone got their food except my wife and the food was literally cold. No one offered any compensation for the restaurant's mistake ?.

We like going here for a few drinks and food to watch a Notre Game that we can't get at home. They have lots of TV available for spectators. Good drink and food.

Croagan’s is a great local spot for meeting friends grabbing a drink and a bite. The food is reliably good and the staff always treats you right. Many friendships have developed and grown thanks to Crogan’s, I’m grateful to have this little treasure in my neighborhood!

Service was solid. Food not special, fish taco was pretty terrible. Think it was cod, very fishy, large tortilla and a lot of lettuce. Pretty empty inside the restaurant.
