Love this place. I spent a lot of time here pre-pandemic and after staying away from any indoor dining for two full years, I was happy to see that they had not only survived, but were also very COVID-conscious (beyond local mandates). Under different ownership now, with slightly smaller menu, but Commonwealth still has good coffee and food, great beer, a very warm and welcoming vibe, and wonderful staff.
Long wait times. I was scolded by the staff for walking to the restroom without a mask. If you’re gonna yell at patrons for not wearing a mask while going to the bathroom, you better provide extra masks for free. Saying “sorry, we ran out” is not an acceptable answer, especially when most other places don’t require them so people don’t carry them.
Love the breakfast sandwich and would highly recommend the lavender latte with oatmilk. Perfect temperature, lovely presentation, friendly staff.
One of my favorite pubs. Great place for a few pints, a perfectly made scotch egg, and a place to watch a soccer match. The staff is friendly and kind, the ambience is comfortable, and the food great. I highly recommend.
Lovely neighborhood spot. Nice local brews and ciders. Food looked interesting and people were friendly.
The mocha and Cortado are spot on and brewed with perfection. Very nice English setup and decor.
Great bar/cafe/lunch spot. The staff is always super nice and I always enjoy the music the play. Oh and the house made veggie burger is tasty af!
Cool pub style cafe/restruant/bar. Delicious food with great vegan and vegetarian friendly options. Fun edgy atmosphere with great staff.
Cider wasn't cold enough. Shepards pie was soso..and fish/chips only on fridays. Won't go back?
Casual, friendly bartender, waitress. Cozy pub feel with sports and wood paneling and good beer and food selections.
