I went to this church‘s chicken on telegraph Street in Oakland California I checked the restaurant out online it said closed at 10 but when I got there at 9:05 PM exactly it was already closed I asked the young lady behind the counter what time you guys close she ignored me for the next 5 min and finally responded nine I specifically know that it’s at 10 o’clock on online but it’s closed at 9 o’clock do not go to the church’s chicken they are horrible in customer service
The building was easy to find, located at a stop light. The young lady behind the counter was pleasant, very knowledgeable and got my order correct. The food was delicious, hot, and she had put everything we needed in our bags. We placed a large order so it took a few moments longer then most orders. Just a heads up if your in a hurry to get there,, the road had a lot of car, and foot traffic on a Saturday afternoon.
Usually I love this place but my food was warm not hot an no biscuit I went through drive thru I kept calling someone back they never came back
Pretty helpful considering they only had 3 people working the lunch rush. Kind of small too, but they do serve great items.
Ion going to give them one more try. My friend likes them. I don't (this location)has serious issues: no working squawk box order at the window got to watch the rats feed out of the dumpster for :20min, Big fat Fellows. I guess the food was ok.more later.
The chicken is cooked perfect the services is just slow. If you have time then this is a good place to enjoy some fried chicken and delicious sides. The biscuits are scrumptious ?
A bit less welcoming than I thought - doesn't seem so organized and attractive in this location, but who was good and I want an alternative to Popeyes and KFC. Clearly theirs is Texas Chicken.
I've never had Trish's chicken before the wait was long but there's only two people working front the guy was swamped wait a long time but food is good guy seems to be handling it you need to hire some more people give that man a break
Parking and Drive thru packed at 4pm means the chicken was fresh and hot ? just like I like it ?. Had to pull over and burn my fingers. Lol ?
I've only been to a few Church's but this is the worst one I've been to. Maybe I got unlucky but the ones out east seem way tastier to me. This was basically KFC level. It doesn't help that the spot is really run down, but my rating would stay the same simply for the flavor.
