Wonderful food and service and great ambiance
While we are kind of over the reclaimed lumber look of so many bars, it was easy to look past that once we were served. An excellent martini, followed by one of the best salads I've had in a long time. I know -- it's just salad, but this one was full of great flavor: heirloom tomatoes (real ones), the most succulent and savory chicken ever, and baby potatoes. It could easily be a meal. We then had their hamburger, and while it looks small, it is packed with flavor and the blue cheese really made it. I did ask for medium rare and it came out well done. Truth is, nobody on this continent knows how to do medium rare, alas. For dessert, the bread pudding, also excellent. Chop Bar was a welcome surprise and we will be back.

Absolutely the best meal Iâve had in awhile. I had the chicken and my friend had the steak. The service was choppy and we had to flag folks down but they were quick to respond. One thing they could do is close the doors to keep the flies out

We are big fans of Chop Bar! Itâs equally good for brunch/lunch or dinner. Do yourself a favor and get the burger and the meatloaf (yes, really). They have a pretty good wine list and their cocktails are good. I went yesterday with friends and it was the first time we all used the ordering by phone system. It was a little confusing at first (we somehow ordered our food twice but an employee caught our mistake) but when it came time to pay it was incredibly easy to split the bill/pay just for what you ordered. Itâs in a fantastic walking neighborhood with a ton of other cool spots to hop around to. Great spot to start a Sunday funday!
The overall experience was what I expected and was very good or a group gathering. The brisket sandwich was okay, but I wished I had ordered something else. Service and variety on the menu was excellent.
Fantastic dining experience with a dear friend. The food was delicious and attractively presented. We particularly enjoyed the wonderfully creative beef brisket sandwich and the sensational avocado toast. The servers were attentive and helpful. Both of us agreed that we cannot wait to go back. Highly recommended!
