Great little place, their jjajangmyeon and tan siu yuk are tasty, cheap, and generously portioned.
You should know the indicator if the chinese restaurant is authentic when the customers are mostly chinese and the place is packed. We walked-in and got a seat not too far from the kitchen, the aroma of the cooking is very inviting. I ordered seafood ganzazang first time I've seen this on chinese menu. It came in a bowl so big it's enough for 3 persons. It is a noodle soup with squid, shrimp, clams, fish, oysters, and vegetables. My goodness, i think all the sea creatures are in this bowl. The flavor is very authentic it took me back to hong-kong. Going back? Checked. Everyone should experience this place and savor it's authenticity.
A must stop when you visit the Bay Area. I was pleasantly surprised when I visited Chef Yu's their portion size was MASSIVE just like my appetite. This place put all other Chinese restaurants to shame for the cheap price of $12. There is not a question if but when will I return 10/10.
Chef Yu's got that ? Can't go wrong with the Yusensation, and also reasonably priced.
i have yet to meet anyone who didn't have a good chef yu's expierience. 10/10
Listen to the reviews and get yourself the jjajanmyeon, the jjampong, and the tangsuyuk. They're delicious
