We are huge Cuban food fans and this was our first time trying this spot.Jerk chicken and fried chicken were great. Unfortunately, the sides were cold and our mango slaw not only was rotten and fermented, but it had a dead bug in it. Pretty disappointed after spending 50 bucks on dinner.

The food is off the charts try to shrimp and grits & you will not be dissatisfied. We will definitely be a repeat offender at this restaurant primo superb food for the GODS

Being from Tampa, I have had great cuban food. This food is average and serviceable. Not a traditional pressed cuban sandwich, more like a Medianoche. At least they carry Materva.

Born and raised in Miami to Cuban and Jamaican parents, Cana is the cure for my homesickness. Oh My Goodness! Their menu puts me right back in the middle of Little Havana, I moved to the bay area for work and have been truly disappointed by the so call Latin Caribbean cuisine, BUT BABY! esto le dara envidia a mi madre (this will make my mother jealous). Thank you for taking this homesick Blatino boy back home!

Tiffany t. Went above and beyond to assist me with my order possibly being a last minute customer. Much appreciated, and I thank you for your outstanding service Muchísimas gracias Reina Negra

Decent little garage sized bar/cafe. Didn't eat anything but it smelled good. $8 for a bottled beer is a bit crazy.

Had platanos fritos, tostones, casamiento, pulled pork and a Modelo Especial. Nice, casual place to relax. Great on hot days.

Great food. Best brunch experience!!!!Lake merritt area is beautiful.

Good service, great music, but insanely overpriced and the Cuban was soggy and mediocre and the salad was rotten.

Went 4-5 times in the last few years. The music and atmosphere is really good! One of the times I had gone there for a Sunday and I was severely overcharged by a couple hundred dollars. I take some fault for just signing the receipt and not paying attention to what was actually on it. Still I went back and the reason being, it's music. So I give it another shot recently, and as we're in the restaurant for a few hours enjoying the music the bartender decides to cash us out. The policy is when the music starts they need a credit card to hold. The irony is, they don't want you to skip out on the tab but they can drastically over charge you. I told my buddy about the situation and I he said they had overcharged him on a previous visit. I'm curious, has this happened to anyone else? Please hit the like button if it has.
