The only thing I ever order here is their shrimp burrito, but I’m happy to admit that it’s super delicious.The wait to order in can be super long and they include chips with your order on an inconsistent basis.
Well not really traditional by any stretch of the imagination, this Americanized version of super healthy burritos, tacos and Mexican food, is nonetheless a little healthier, and still really tasty and fresh. Usually quite busy, with people in the neighborhood you might want to call your order in ahead of time unless you want to eat there. The burritos are particularly good, and the staff is really nice
My go-to Mexican in Rockridge! Always great food, friendly and fast service. The crispy tacos are my favorite dish, they have small plates for kids and cold beer on tap! Outdoor seating available in the back to enjoy the sunshine!! Great place!
Gross. Chewy pork. Stinky fish. Bland. The worst chips. They gave me no salsa on a big order. Don’t bother with this place. There is amazing Mexican food in Oakland, and this place is not it.
Horribly slow and worst customer service experience I've ever had. Older guy with hat and older woman, people behind the counter, are ready to hit you in the face. . Worst than going to metro pcs. Horrible food , horrible taste, frozen meats, vegetables. Dirty kitchen. It's just spicy. Burger king is real king compare to this place.
Still my favorite Mexican in NorCal. The crispy tacos are my goto here. The empanadas are amazing too.

Always fast, high quality ingredients, super tasty. I love Mexican food, grew up in the Bay with a ton of good trucks and restaurants. Cactus is at top of list, I bring friends from out of town as an easy option and it never disappoints. I never write reviews but I was there yesterday and my son wants to go have brunch there today! Super picky, so that says something. Any comments about little flavor are nonsense. Go and make your belly happy!
Food was okay. I was hungry so I got a burrito. Burrito did not have much flavor and was a bit dry from what I am used to from other restaurants. It was not too bad but could have used a bit more flavor or salsa perhaps to make it more enjoyable.
Did not get any of my order right, gave very clear instructions that seemed to be ignored, had to throw out the large order, hot happy at all! Years ago this place was very good, Now it make Jack In The Box, sound better, at least they always get the orders done right.
