10/10 - The Laphet Thoke (tea leaf salad) is the best salad I’ve ever had. Got the eggplant shrimp and lamb Kebat, killer. Will return! Recommend coming during non-busy times (we came Wednesday night). Expect a wait, but it’s worth it!Also, Chris rules (give them a raise plz)
Tried to a make a reservation for a Tuesday night for a large party. They require $45 per person minimum. I am coming with a Muslim household that doesn't drink alcohol so they essentially require 2 dishes per person. Could have probably walked in without a reservation and gotten a table immediately.Very stupid company policy in my opinion, it seems they only want alcoholic business. I don't really feel inclined to come back here even though the food is great.
Amazing food, unfortunately slightly understaffed. They placed us at a table next to the bar, but somehow waiters didn't see us or kept forgetting things we ordered. We actually went here for their tea leaf salad but they ran out - considering it's one of their most popular items they could totally disclaim it, especially in their online menu.

Great place for Burmese takeout. The crispy chicken is delicious. And the coconut rice is great too.
Really flavourful food and quick service. Lots of vegan options! The portions are quite large: I would suggest ordering a variety of plates to share. The soup was the standout of the night for me - so many flavours. The coconut rice is also very good and satisfyingly sweet which works with the curry! Go early because there is usually a queue! There is outdoor sitting with heat lamps.
So so so good!! The food is incredible, service was super nice, good sized portions, and reasonable prices for the quality. Highly recommend.
We ordered takeout from the Telegraph Avenue location. It’s a little difficult to find because it is tiny and with an almost invisible sign. BUT the dishes we got once we picked up our order were really great. The samosa salad was unique, any of the noodle dishes are wonderful, and since we are vegetarians we were delighted with all the great veggie options — including top quality tofu. Tip: Be sure to order some of the coconut rice. It is flavorful and goes well with any of the dishes. Another tip: You can select your spiciest level — and we picked mild and we were not disappointed.
I've loved your food and cherish memories of growing up going to your restaurant. After learning of your wage theft lawsuit and reading of your continued denial of any wrongdoing after shelling out 1.3 million, I will absolutely no longer dine with you and will advise everyone I know in the area to boycott you, Eats, and B Star. You violated multiple labor laws and skirted others. No one pays out 1.3 million after committing no wrongdoing. Had you apologized and reformed your ways, I would have returned to your place. Instead, I will advocate for a boycott of your establishments and hope you get driven out of business.
