First time here, and it was good! I'd come back to try their menu items. I'd give their boba milk tea 3.5/5 stars. Their house coconut coffee 4/5 stars. And their combination cold-cut banh mi is a 4/5.
My favorite boba place in Oakland. They are super friendly and welcoming, the place is clean and fresh, and the menu is awesome.I love the taro milk tea and the tofu banhmi. A great deal on all the sandwiches.
This chè thái was bomb ?I usually come for the Vietnamese coffee with salted crema (it's so rare to find Vietnamese coffee with vegan milk (coconut or oatly)) but everything's good ?
I love this new place! It's small but nice staff and clean. I tried Matcha green tea late and some sandwiches. All of them are tasty and fresh. Since my favorit vietnamese sandwich spot in China town was closed permanently during pandemic, I was looking for a good place. Now this is my favorite one!John seems to be the owner or manager. He is very nice guy as well as other staff.When you order some sandwiches online, just be careul not to choose "extra pate" to griled pork, grilled beef, grilled chicken ones. They regularly don't put pate in those sandwiches. But their online order or other delivery companies give you that option with $1.25〜$1.50？. John fixed my order right away. :) I'm happy about it too.If you a big fan of vietnamese sandwich and asian fusion drinks, this place is probably the best bet in midtown and China town area in Oakland. This place has the best Banh Mi. Came here at 1pm, there were 4-5 peoples ahead of us waiting for their food. We ordered a Pork Loaf, Pork Sung with Pate Banh Mi, mango matcha latte and my coworker ordered a Vegan Banh Mi. Bread was crusty, warm and soft and all the ingredients were fresh and tasty. You can tell they made everything in house. My mango matcha was also pretty good . the matcha flavor was strong. Will definitely be back to try other item in the menu.
I never give reviews but the owner of this place and the staff are really nice and welcoming. Owner recognized me because I have been going there a lot recently. Everytime I walk in to get my daily boba dose, I always get greeted by the owner/staff. Also, the boba here is superb and very soft which accommodates to my personal liking. The milk tea is very flavorful and delicious as well.
Strawberry match milk tea is very tasty. The drink is made with fresh matcha!! Sugar is absolutely adjustable cuz I don’t like too sweet drinks. The owner is super friends and patiently explained each drinks that we were curious.
Got jasmine milk tea and ordered "less sweet" which somehow equates to 75% sweet. There only seems to be normal, 75% sweet and none, which they probably should change that. My drink was overwhelmingly sweet, I had to go home and add more water.
The beef banh mi was excellent! The baguette was crispy and the veggies were fresh. The order came out quickly and the person working the register was so kind. I look forward to visiting again soon.
Good Assam milk tea. With 25% sugar it was still a tad sweet. The drink was made quickly. Limited menu choices. Pricing is higher compared to other shops in the area.
