So many flavours. They were pretty full but the service was quick and our food was impeccable we were so impressed and will come back many times.
We have been coming here since they opened in 2016. It is one of our go to restaurants in Rockridge. I use to bring my 15-20 year old Barolos here but now that I’m running low, I just buy wines off the list (the pricing is quite reasonable). They only have 10 tables inside and since the pandemic, they now serve outside which has helped double the volume of their business, which they can handle. They have also added at least 4 vegetarian pasta options where it use to be one. We prefer to order just the pastas, a bottle or glasses of wine, split a salad and order a side like Brussels sprouts, and finish up with an affrogato and or a panna cotta. The staff are long time professionals who are knowledgeable and like their jobs. We prefer 2-3 o’clock lunches when it is less crowded and you can take your time and enjoy your meal. By far this is one of the best meals in the Bay Area.
You definitely need to make reservations!We had lunch here on a Saturday afternoon and our server (who wasn't aware that it was a special occasion) went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and comfortable.We had the burrata salad, a medium size charcuterie board, and each of us had different pasta plates. Everything was delicious!The only thing they don't serve is seafood pasta (my dad's favorite.) But aside from this minor detail, everything is PERFFFFECT
On par with the restaurants in Rome that we dined in. Definitely the best pasta in the East Bay located in the Rockridge neighborhood. Plenty of street parking too. We had the Pasta Alla Ligure, Scarpinocc de Pare and the Tagliatelle Al Cinghiale. All were out of this world incredible.
Am I the only one that thinks that the quality of food and service is not the same compared to how it was before the pandemic? Did they change the chef? The main waitress used to be amazing, now the waiter is a little cranky. This place used to be my favorite spot hands down, but I think I can't say that anymore. It is still very good though.
We had a terrific dining experience at Belotti. Clearly, Belotti's know what they are doing. The food is outstanding. We tried two of the salads- the Americana and the Insalata Golasa. Both salads were beautifully presented . Both salads had interesting ingredients and both were delicious. We tried the Pasta alla ligure and a pasta with duck sugo. Again, excellent. The wait staff did a great job.
True handmade Italian fine dining made fresh daily. Didn't have reservation when arrived but host squeezed us in, gave us an hour timeline. Service was impeccable and friendly.
After watching a Check, Please! Bay Area segment on this place we were thoroughly looking forward to eating here. We started with the Lattuga and then proceeded to our mains which were the Casoncelli Bergamaschi & Pasta Alla Ligure. Both were absolutely delicious. The one sour note of the evening was the service. It was a cool chilly evening and the heat lamps helped a lot. What we were not thrilled about was seeing the folks coming in behind us, who also had a reservation for outside get seated inside. We had asked the hostess about whether there were any seats available inside. We were told no, along with the folks that were standing behind us, who also had reservations for outside. After being seated outside we noticed that the couple who came in behind us had gotten seated inside at an open table. That same table had been open when we first got there. I don't know if the folks who came in after us where friends or locals who have been here before. It was just a little unnerving to see folks, who had came in after us, with similar reservations for outside, being seated inside.
This was amazing! I came here after a hike and my stomach was grumpy, but after coming here my stomach was full. It’s almost like Italy in Oakland! The waiters were amazing and fast service, worth the money.
First visit, excellent service right of the get go, our main waiter was top notch and food was great! We'll come back ?
