Really good coffee❤️ I’m from Europe and this coffee shop has the coffee that reminds me Europe the most.
This place has so much potential but they drop the ball every time I go. First, they always run out of bagels at around 12pm even though they are open until 2pm. As that is their main food item, you’d think they’d start making more in order to not run out everyday… Second, their food/drinks are so expensive. Everything in this area is expensive but a lot of places have spectacular food. Here, the coffee and food are just meh. Lastly, they have no WiFi!!! They have a spacious indoor seating area and an appealing atmosphere to sit and do work, but it’s impossible unless you use your own hotspot.
I was looking for a coffee shop to grab a quick latte and a bagel before an interview and this place popped up. The staff was very kind and sweet. The barista who made my latte definitely knew what she was doing and the taste was quite delicious. They complimented me on my suit and hairstyle which only made it even better. Will definitely have to visit again for my future coffee needs.

Um, if you're a serious coffee drinker, there's not a better place in town. It's old school coffee shop, no Wi-Fi, shut up and talk to someone coffee shop. A great atmosphere, with quite the variety, coffee gear for purchase, beer and wine, snack menu, it's the complete package.
The coffee is served not some time before the supper, which I love as I can't stand cold coffee with a gala. It was a hot day when I visited anyway the hot coffee was so satisfactory. Thank you!

This place is great. They serve coffee and pastries, but also beer and sandwiches so i can meet friends for beer and food or coffee and pastries. Plus, it's right by BART and easy to get to so I never have to worry about parking. They have live music here but I don't usually stay for it because it gets loud in there and so far none of the bands have been to my taste. Good place to relax or study.
So this place is still opened during the Pandemic and WOW IT'S STILL SO GOOD!! This time I ordered the Lavender Latte (iced) and my S.O. Got the vanilla latte (hot). Both were the perfect taste! I love sweets; their coffee is definitely not overpowering sweet but has the perfect amount to enjoy. We also got the salted chocolate chip cookie and the acme bread with butter and toast. Omg the toast was SOOOOOO good!! They are super generous with the jam and it was just overall perfect. Both times I had fantastic experiences so this time I want my review to reflect that. Also they now having some outdoor seating, but no tables. It was still very enjoyable! They have it nice and shaded and the chairs they have are big enough where you can place your drink on top. The baristas were so nice and kind! Definitely recommend this place if you're in Oakland!!
