Staff are really nice and helpful people I ate Chicken tikka masala. It was really delicious. I really recommend it very well and the price is very reasonable Bon appetit.

Forgot to take a picture before we eat , everything was delicious ? our first time here found it from google definitely we would come back specially for the Turkish delight

This place is great. I order from here regularly. Fantastic samosas, delicious tandoori chicken wraps, and if you like goat---this is your place. And the price cannot be beat.

UPDATE, FEB 7TH 2022:Still a killer, Al-Maida ("The Table Spread with Food"), is STILL rocking the best Halal in Oakland. Soo Clean, fresh and tasty, tis almost qualifies as diet food, but it's too yummy to be that. It's just really healthy. The Hit: Chicken Tikka Combo plate, with rice or Naan (Get the garlic Naan if you like more flava)This place is a hidden gem in North Oakland serving some of the best fresh halal food in the East Bay, in a relaxed setting, that a lot of people just pass by during their commute.I ordered a seekh kabab, with garlic naan, aloo tikki, and a salad that comes with the kebab.I watched them make the Naan right in front of me, and the food was tasty fresh and delicious, and really on the clean side of eating, lightly spiced and fresh with not too much salt or oil. This place is fantastic and I highly recommend it!

This is my favorite local Indian Pakistani food, no kidding! Love this place so much I ordered a bunch of food for our extended family for Christmas Eve. The chicken tikka masala has tandoori chicken and the sauce is like crack. So good, and reasonable prices, too! I always call ahead and pick up so no waiting, and no fees charged to them for ordering via some app. Family owned, nice people. Just stop by, you won’t regret it.

Drive past this place all the time, decided to stop in and check it out. Very good selection of non-alcoholic beverages, decided to try the food. Got some Samosas for the road trip home, very good. Guy behind me got the Lamb Biryani smelled good, gonna have to check that out next time.

When you see a tiny Pakistani kitchen in the back of a convenience store, you know it's going to be good. The definition of a hidden gem.

I just came in for a little grocery or two, and I love the smell of the Indian food. I think the staff was helping a customer with a problem order but he was very smiley the whole time and the customer seems very satisfied after waiting for 5 minutes. It's small and quaint and the back aisle is a bit too narrow for fire safety.

Average food. Told me it would take half an hour, so I sat down at the table in front of them. After 45 minutes they still hadn't let me know my food was ready, so I went up to the counter to ask how much more time it would take. The cashier pulled out my food, barely still warm. Would they have ever let me know my food was ready? At this point I'm tempted to just give it to my dog

I ate here twice in the last week. I'm trying to eat less meat and there are enough options to make it easy especially with the paneer masala (top notch). The other options I like were the spicy eggplant dish along with the falafel wrap. If you like meat, I have never gone wrong with any of the goat or lamb dishes. Prices are incredibly reasonable for the amount of food you get.
