One of my favorite Ethiopian places in Oakland. A bit pricier than others but worth it for the authentic ambiance and A+ food.
I love this place and have been coming for at least 5 years. Clean, attractive decorations, a special hand-washing sink. I like to get the vegetarian sampler platter (the meat sampler is also good). Fish Tibs is a winner - slightly crispy and nicely spiced boneless pieces of tilapia. I love the collard greens as well. Good and friendly service. I brought 4 friends here tonight and they all thought it was excellent!
I love their veggie sampler, great portion sizes and one of my favorite Ethiopian spots. Give their sampler a try!
Take out. Wonderful, flavorful Ethiopian food. Excellent beef wat and doro wat. Good vegetarian dishes as well. Excellent service. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Always fast service, reasonable prices, friendly customer service. Their veggie combo platter has the most generous servings compared to other Ethiopian restaurants, and they always get my special requests right (extra gomen, don't skip the cabbage). =)
Amazing place, amazing music, service, and food!!! I esp love the live jazz band. Will definitely be back!
Food was 5 star customer service was questionable. Gentleman seemed reluctant to serve us because it was an hour before closing time (during covid). He mentioned they were running out of injera at the time.
