Sam makes the best Fried Fish sandwich I have ever had, same goes for his Thai Iced tea, Its a staple for me now.. lunch (at least once a week)

I get my sandwich almost everyday from here. Definitely best in the Oakland! The owner is very smiley. Glad that it is very close to my stay.
This place is in the tuck of a residential area. The nostalgicness of this place is immediately felt and very familiar. The design is a little modern yet simple. It's a mix of high end type of feels with bad neighborhood etiquette hence having to order thru a plexiglass wall. This establishment is on a corner with 2 outdoor tables to sit and eat at. Our server was so pleasant and bubbly and very accommodating. He brought our food out and my God was it delicious!!! The garlic fries were too good and my burger was cooked perfectly! I just wish a little more lettuce was on it. The bread was toasted with butter Amen! Burger well done and delicious!!! What a jewel! You will enjoy it if you visit here for lunch. It wasn't crowded at All. A person of the neighborhood stopped to talk to me and my spouse. He knows the community well and even his dog was friendly.
What a hidden gem! A friend of ours brought us here. I had the pulled pork with an egg on top. It was delicious. The pork was sweet and the egg was perfectly cooked. It was a big portion so I had some leftover for later. Really good Thai ice teas. They package everything really well to go. The staff was very nice.
I’m constantly on the hunt for the best breakfast sandwich and this is it!! They make their own biscuits and sausage! The staff is amazingly friendly. I also get a little of their gravy which really brings the sandwich to the next level! And affordable! LOVE THIS PLACE!

Honestly a treasure of a restaurant— bomb sandwiches. The breakfast sandwich and the Woody are *chefs kiss*. Love this place.
Chicken sandwich is great - make it bette and ask for their crystal/coffee sauce on the side. I’m not sure what is in this brown dipping sauce, but it’s great! In my mind, I’m keeping it at crystal hot sauce mixed with coffee cause that is what I want to believe.
The food is always so good when I come thru here, also affordable which makes me get multiple things? They are a family business I think and are always so nice and welcoming. If I lived in the neighborhood this would be my everyday spot ? I am in fact not a white person and think the food is so tasty ?
