Starbucks, especially the ones in Safeway, do not have the greatest ratings especially by us coffee snobs. But today my partner and I had fantastic cups of decaf from this Safeway Starbucks. The gentleman took the time to do pour overs as opposed to americanos. In case any managers or whoevers are looking at this review, I'd mention his name, but I don't remember it! He was a shorter thinner black gentleman, and he had a really positive energy about him. And he made pour overs so good that I didn't even need that much cream in it. I should mention that everybody's shorter to me because I'm 6-1, so maybe he was average height and I just had no idea because I have a terrible gauge. if it was appropriate to hug the guy for the cups of coffee he made my partner and I, I would have. Thank you thank you thank you to have her this guy is. You made my day.

Awful! A simple coffee ruined by poor baristing (new word). "Room for cream?" "No thanks, but no so full that it spills when I try to drink it." Walking through the store, the ill-fitting lid, almost soggy cup and coffee sloshing all over my hand had me irked. Putting the wiped up mess into my cupholder, I noticed that she had in addition to ensuring that the coffee would spill out of squashed-top cup and not tight lid, she had stuck a sliced open (too small) cardboard thingie around the cup. So, Starbucks in Ignacio Safeway whose sole employee at @ 1:00pm Mon, May 3, 2021, do you think it is smart to serve customers cups with too small parts so their products and experiences are ruined.
