Red Boy is the best. We just got back from picking up a pizza. We got there early and had a drink and the service is so great. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The beers were ice cold and the place is always clean and just awesome. If you haven't ever had their pizza you're missing out. Best crust in Marin and the toppings are super quality. We love this place.
My first order from a Red Boy Pizza ... I ordered a large, thick crust, sausage and mushroom pizza. Was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived 25 minutes later, was told that it was not yet ready. After about another 10 minutes, the hostess told me that there had been a mistake and they had made a thin crust pizza. I didn't want to wait, so agreed to take the pizza that was ready. The hostess also told me I would get a discount on my next order.I was stunned when she handed me what appeared to be a child's box, with a pizza about half the size of a large at other pizza places. And, then, when I got home, I discovered that not only was the crust thin, but there was hardly any cheese, a small scattering of mushrooms and virtually no sausage to speak of. All of this I could have lived with if the pizza had just tasted good. It didn't. In fact, it was one of the worst pizzas I have ever had ... and I've been eating pizza for a long time, 70 years, going back to my childhood in New York.I will never take advantage of the "discount" on my next order, as there will never be a next order.
Ok had another excellent pizza from Red Boy delivered from the Ignacio location. I mean EXCELLENT! Crust was crispy and chewy at the same time, cheese, sauce and toppings were absolutely perfect and I am so happy. Hands down, the very best pizza in Novato!!!
The food is amazing, (especially their mozzarella sticks!) but the costumer service could use some work. I am not one to complain about the employees, for they are just trying to do their job, and I understand customer service isn’t the most heartening job, but I find this instance in need of attention.The person I was on the phone with was incredibly disrespectful, hanging up on me multiple times; and when asked about why they hung up on me, they just responded “I’m the only one here and I’m tired of people harassing me over the phone”.I find it extremely disheartening that such a good restaurant would have such rude employees, but I guess there are always the bad apples. I am inclined to not order from here again, but to a loss, I really did enjoy their mozzarella sticks :(
Enjoyed returning to a favorite restaurant. We ordered a Meatball sandwich and the Italian Sub sandwich. We loved them both ?

Super tasty and crispy sourdough crust. They do not skimp on ranch, salad, or toppings. The delivery driver was cordial and polite.
