Have young kids so have gone here often, always drive thru. Something wrong with our order almost every time we’ve gone. Missed burger, wrong or missing sauce, drink unavailable but you don’t find out until pick up window. Maybe need more training?
It's a McDonald's - you know what you're going to get and that they will be fast. Nothing unexpected, just a quick bite after a concert on the long drive home.
I was driving home at 9:30 PM to Sonoma after flying into Oakland Airport. Thought I should pickup something quick to eat since my last meal was an 11 AM breakfast down in Los Angeles. I pulled up to place my order at drive-through. I asked for a McPlant meal (since I dont eat animal protein) with a double patty. I was told by the attendant that he couldn't place the order for a double patty (he did sound a bit confused). After I asked why, he said his computer wouldn't allow it. I thought this very strange as I have ordered a double patty McPlant sandwiches at McDonalds Restaurants in Sonoma, San Jose, LA County and Orange County. Those restaurants seem to have no trouble taking and fulfilling my order.I don't really understand why the Novato restaurant could not handle this simple order.
Ordered then when arrived at the window, the lady working there shoved the food at me and closed the window. I had ordered and paid for an Oreo McFlurry so I kept trying to get her attention - she ignored me and kept talking to someone. The line began to back up with frustrated cars. Finally the lady who takes payments at the first window got the attention of the lady running the second window. The second lady opened the window and said to pull over and she will bring it out (because the McFlurry wasn't even ready). So we pull over - and wait. And wait. And wait. She doesn't come out so I go in. She sees me, ignores me again for a bit. Then comes and slams down the McFlurry on the counter without a word then walks away. All through this I haven't said a word other than to smile at her. Terrible customer service.
Apparently closed at 1am even though it’s stated 2am. Chose this location because of this fact at last minute and in Novato every minute matters so don’t even bother. Thumbs down and big toes down.

They have the best fries! Nice, warm and tasty. However… they’re always rushing I feel like coz you would have to correct your orders when get up to the very first window. Highly recommend this location
I've been coming here for years. I'm tired of the rude employees and today I've had it. If you don't know what a customer is saying or don't know how to work your system don't be rude. I'll never come here again.
Try to order three simple things Millie at the cashier cannot figure out what I wanted to order I tried to order a cheeseburger with bacon and they said they don't have a cheeseburger with bacon and so I totally forgot I have a quarter pounder with bacon eggs but okay I can do that I'm sorry is that not the same thing
Just came from McDonald’s and it was CLOSED (5am) there were people inside and I asked someone what time they’d open and all he did was shake his head. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR OPENING TIME‼️
