Great food, definitely worth it. Delicious fish, tasty wasabi, all parts came together perfectly. Also great staff.

The food is good. They are tight with the house hot sake. It was fathers day and there was a festival down the road so their lack of service and contrived friendliness can be slightly excused. Not the same service I experienced many years ago.

Favorite restaurant downtown novato. So many good options outside of just sushi as well. Loved the braised pork belly dish and udon noodles to go along with our crunch rolls and wagyu !

Masa is our go to sushi spot in Marin. Taka and Lance are the best at their craft.

One of the best sushi restaurants in Marin!

A nice place for fresh sashimi. Prepared well and meticulously served with a pleasing appearance. I would definitely go again. Had the rainbow and California maki. The salmon teriyaki bento. Well portioned and we'll balanced.

$140 dollar meal for 4 rolls/entrees and 2 iced teas. Selling single piece nigiri instead of 2 pieces is twice the price essentially. We waited over 15 mins to even see our server in the outdoor seating area, and never once checked on us throughout the disjointed experience while we ate. He only came to apologize when it came time for me to write in the gratuity on the check. Acknowledging his neglect or the restaurants lack of staffing at double the pre pandemic prices. Why even have outdoor seating? Whwn your servers are non-existant?

One of the best places I have ever ate in. Super super super super super good. I didn’t go to sleep and was drooling over thinking about the food I ate. Seriously, this review ain’t nothing compared to how good it is. Got the asparagus salad, dragon something roll that had spicy tuna and tempura. Also a California roll that had avocado, lime and salmon. Then the Miso something fish (black cod) and a Japanese wagyu order. BEST FOOD !!! Going again today. Im in Love.Update: I forgot to finish the Review because I was eating in MASA. Again; amazing place. The rolls were the red dragon and salmon citrus.

Awesome food. But overpriced and really congested restaurant. I wouldn't have thought of it as a problem but during a pandemic, it is a problem. You can't expect your customers to sit so close to each other. I may go there for a take out but never a dine in.

I’ve been going here since I was 2 it was so sad when masa died but the new owners have kept his legacy going it is the best sushi in town and probly one of the best in the Bay Area
