Hi, on Mother's Day we visited our hometown Mary's Pizza. I want to say the food tasted good, but was warm venturing on cold. The coffee was cold and we asked for hot which was promised to be served. When served it to was warm not hot. We commented and was told she put it in the carafe. More than 1/2 way thru our meal I asked where the special order of garlic bread was. She said she would check on that. I was finished with my meal when we got excellent hot garlic bread. I left a generous tip inspite of the meal. My friends and I love Mary's, but this outing was a disappointment. The restaurant was not busy and service was slow. Please bring the experiences I enjoyed before back. Love your food. $80 for two pizza arrives 2 hours later completely cold. Not cool
We have probably been to this Mary’s at least 100 times over the past 21 years. We understand that COVID-19 has caused some staffing issues. However last night we had a server who became very frustrated with us when we asked for simple things like bowls and serving utensils. I don’t know if she was inexperienced I just didn’t like her job.the meal was fine but these things made us feel like we were being difficult And we have never felt that way at this Mary’s before.
I was surprised that they charge a 3% fee on the order for some minimum wage law in Novato. I wish they would just raise their menu prices. I don't care that it cost more, just think it is deceptive.

Casey was a allstar! We had a table of seven walk- in there were other tables seated including another large table when we arrived were seated quickly and recieved stellar service. She was busy but never let us feel it. As a former server @ Mary's in 2001 in Sonoma plaza She is a rockstar let her know.
I found this place and I must say I was not let down . I had the hit dog in a blanket filled with cheese and bacon . I loved it . I will be back to try the pizza ! Costumer service was great as well . Clean and both inside and outside dining available.
Went in and tried to order the family meal deal advertised on the chalk board as soon as you walk in. We were told that we couldn’t order it because it was take out only. It didn’t state TAKE OUT ONLY on the chalk board!! Upset but Ok whatever (that’s completely absurd) so we ordered chicken parmigiana. Waitress comes back a while later and says they are out of chicken parmigianaOk so now we have to decide a third time on what we’re going to order.By the way the Kids ordered create your own pizza and were told they couldn’t do the kids create your own pizza because of the pandemic (shaking my head) so we just ordered bambino pizzas for them.Ok so now we decided to get the spaghetti with white clam sauce which I have had before plenty of times in Anderson Ca. and it’s great. Well this time it was like it had been frozen and reheated and served in a small soup bowl!! Almost $20 for that?? Unbelievable. I like Mary’s Pizza Shack but Novato WE WILL NOT COME BACK!!
