Just finished an Amazing dinner complete with the best margaritas that we have ever experienced! The food was delicious with exceptional portions. San Rafael combo was incredible! Loved the Steak/Chicken Fajitas! Small family atmosphere! We loved it!
This fantastic restaurant is worth the drive from Petaluma or Southern Marin.Your entire family , including well behaved dogs, will be welcomed and well fed here. We love happy hour here too. And if you get too happy , just take the train home. The SMART train station is a short walk away. We hope you enjoy the Novato gem too. See you soon.
Nice outside seating area. Very pleasant with the fountain and plants. On a side street so you don’t have much street traffic. This was the first time I was here and I had the shrimp tacos which I don’t recommend. Instead of grilled shrimp I got the tiny shrimp that were obviously put in the microwave to heat them up. Tacos and bean and rice portions were larger than you normally get. Maybe there other dishes are better.

For over 2 years I wanted to try this restaurant and I did. Wouldn't go back as the food wasn't good but nice staff
Our party of 4 enjoyed a wonderful dinner together. The staff were Great. Our orders were perfect. I always have a Great meal and a Great time here.

It had been 2 yrs since I'd eaten here, but I recently found myself in the area and decided to stop by. What a massive disappointment.The chips were cold and appeared right out of a bag. Only one salsa (used to be two) and it was bland and spiceless.I ordered Mole Poblano (chicken), something I had enjoyed here many many times in the past. It was just terrible. The "chicken breast" was actually shredded, probably to disguise it was half a breast if that. The rice was cold and barely edible, some uncooked. But the biggest disappointment was the mole sauce. Nothing more than sweet, bland, watered-down chocolate sauce. In the past it was a rich blend of spices you could tell was homemade. This garbage tasted straight out of a jar.When I lived in Novato I eat here several times a month. Is this is an example of the food nowadays, I will never be back. Really sad.
Lovely local eatery with delicious food & friendly staff. Everything we ordered was tasty, well-prepared & presented nicely. Highly recommend.
