Nice place for lunch. Friendly service, just a bit slow, at least when busy. Several vegetarian options. Would go back.
Overcharged me on my cc even though I gave a cash tip, but food and service was ok.

I don’t understand. With so many good restaurants in this area, why does this restaurant have such a high rating? The cream of asparagus soup was watery, salty, and tasteless. The sweet potato fries were greasy because they didn’t bother draining them. The potato gnocchi was mediocre. I asked about gluten-free, and he brought me the regular. Did he really think I was asking out of curiosity?The pancakes were the tiniest I ever had! Only 6” and only two for $14. The gluten-free substitute cost $5.25, which is ridiculous.

I was excited to eat here but the excitement quickly burned off! The staff was horrid, rude, stand offish, unjust down right unpleasant. The Sandwich pictured is a crab and prawn, do not get this dish unless you love onions. The only thing you could taste was onions, it was horrible, so disappointed. The spaghetti and meatballs was delicious how ever. But no french or garlic bread to go with it no parmesan either. The wait time from placing the order was over 30 minutes, way to long, and no came back to check on is the whole time. To bad as this is a gold mind location with tons of foot traffic and people passing by all day long.
Tried the beat salad and Hanna's Penne with the secret house tomato sauce. I am still thinking of the pasta dish a day later. Our meals were delicious. I would describe everything as getting the most out of the simplest of ingredients. Recommend if you are craving Italian food while in or near Novato
Grazie will always be one of my favs I like the Ruben. They're greens are fresh and local. The owner is a sweetheart and the staff are wonderful. They really stuck it out through covid and I am so happy they didn't have to close. People are filling It up again and it is in a very cute Old Town area with the flowers in the patio. It's a nice local business.
