We went to this IHOP on a Sunday afternoon. There was 1 other party in the restaurant that day. It took over 20 minutes for a server to take our drink order and another 20 minutes to come take our dinner order.It looked like a lot of the servers were leaving at that time we had a total of 4 servers. Finally the last one was nice and on it.We only go back because of sentimental reasons. Otherwise we avoid this place

cannot believe the size of the water glasses as well as a glass of milk. I asked if they mistakenly gave my husband a child's glass. service was not that great.
If I could give it a zero I would. The worst service I've ever experienced!!! Once we were seated by I'm assuming the manager, he said our waiter would be with us shortly. We waited 25 minutes with anyone to come and take our drink order 25 minutes!!! Absolutely unacceptable! The manager had seen us sitting there and didn't bother to come over!! Finally after 30 minutes a waiter comes to our table. He was really nice and apologized for the wait. I was super annoyed at that point and he knew it but obviously it wasn't his fault so no need to take it out on the poor guy. We were not the only ones who had issues that night either. Another party was telling the manager about an order problem. Clearly there's a problem here at this location and communication isn't there. If your short staffed (like oh maybe you have ONE waiter) tell your customers that first. It's common sense!!! I definitely will not be going back to this location!!

Well, never thought id leave a review for this particular Ihop. Service has always been mediocre, maybe even less sometimes.. Same man always working evening shift, taking way long to take drinks order, refills, food order, etc. BUT today, 7:45pm on Tuesday 2/22, some new face never seen b4, name PEDRO, impressed the heck out of us. Came in, took our drink order, brought them in a nice timely fashion, same applied for our food order. He kept coming around and topping our coffees, i was blown away.. And there was 3 times as many people than usual.. This guy is a true jedi, amazing service.. On top of all, has a very nice, welcoming attitude.. Very humble dude!!!! To the owner of this Norwalk franchise, i ask that you please commend this guy, as i did. He deserves to be acknowledged, its rare to come accross perfect service such as this. He was so impressive that he outweighed my 2 star review to a full 5 star... Give the guy a raise if possible, well deserved!!!! Go PEDRO!!!! You da man!!!! Great service!!!
Brunch was delicious, waiter was fantastic.Everyone in our table enjoyed their meals.Yes I would highly recommend.
01/30/22Seated at 8:30am ordered at 8:40am, received our food at 9:30am… too long to get our food… and we had a child… breakfast turned into brunch. Service could better.
I would like to congratulate Marisol the Manager at the Imperial location in Norwalk the service was excellent I visit Ihop every weekend and the service today was outstanding starting with the host and not to mention our server Elena she was from Paramount but she was excellent she was efficient attentive great customer service skills and fast. Thank you Elena from Paramount I hope you get a raise Happy new years!
