I just spent 40 bucks on dinner here but I might end up just throwing it away. I walked in to place an order and immediately noticed an employee who appeared to be on her break with a personal drink item in hand - WITH HER FOOD SERVICE GLOVES ON. I observed the same employee place her drink underneath the food service counter, move her hair from her face, and touch her face - all while wearing her gloves. She then proceeded to touch and prepare food (specifically side salads) for other people.I addressed the issue to the staff working behind the counter and they all looked at me like I was making an issue out of a non issue. If the rest of that team doesn’t understand that that is a problem, I have zero confidence that food safety standards are being followed overall.This isn’t a hole in the wall / food truck .I use to work food service and I know what flys and what doesn’t that’s grossVery disappointed ?
It wasn't very clean inside employees spent a lot of time talking within themselves when they could have been cleaning and wiping what was needed some employees were unprofessional to what look like a young un experience cashier it lacked leadership and professionalism and cleanliness Harley father wasn't the food was nice and hot but not nothing really to write home about but the red and the green hot sauce made everything taste better

VERY NICE. I ENJOYED THE FAST & COURTEOUS SERVICE. I WAS IMPRESSED THAT THE GIRL WHO TOOK MY ORDER SUGGESTED MENU ITEMS THAT WERE BOTH ECONOMICAL & PLEASING.

Got the taquitos with the salad and bit into something hard that hurt my tooth when I checked it was a little plastic part of a zip tie
I've been coming here for plenty of years. The workers have always been nice to me and I've never had an issue at this location. They have always helped me and made sure that my coupons work. Like any other pollo loco, the food is made fast and plenty of options to get.
I ordered a Double chicken Tostada bowl the chicken was cold and dry the avocado was old I never eat that this El Pollo Loco wasted $10
The nachos were perfect the chicken was freaking delicious and the workers were delightful.
