The 3 jumpo shrimp crispy tacos didn't have jumpo shrimp it had tomatoes and little chopped shrimp pieces fried and cabbage on the side . wasn't what I expected .$10 a plate I'd expect at Least 2 jumpo shrimps in each taco. I'll try something else someday hopefully my review will change.
The food was gross! It left me with a bad taste in my mouth! I felt like throwing up right after! My son didn’t finish his burrito de asada cause it was gross! The dogs ate it! I rather pay more and get better food! I will never go here again! Sorry it’s just my truth!
This place is known for their tamales. Which I love. I have now tried these quesa taco and we love them.Also I miss the costillita tacos. They were amazing.
The food is pretty good not gonna lie and there salsa are fire I give a 4 stars just cause of the wait time and they could do a little bit better overall

Read the bio on this place! This is legit the taste and flavor of real Mexican food! It's almost as good as la comida de mamá (mom's cooking) glad i found this place since I'm new to Norwalk and allot of the Mexican places here let me down! DON JULIO is the place to go trust me!
Tamales are good but just not enough carne, mostly masa so if you love masa this is your place. I think the pork were better then the chicken but only because the chicken were super greasy. Like no one puts enough carne now days. I was charged three dollars more then what was posted on the menu plus tax for a dozen.They should update the prices. I would eat these again though because like I said they were good, just not 5 stars good.
